I use credit-card points to book almost all my travel, but I try not to carry a balance on my cards. As someone who books most of my travel with points and miles, here are things I'd never do. I live with my husband and two teens, and we've had a Costco membership since 2014. Costco has some great deals, but sometimes buying in bulk isn't worth it for our family. I've found many of the premade meals aren't a good value, and buying cold cuts in bulk is wasteful. Glenn Youngkin’s effort to purge 1,600 people he says are suspected noncitizens from the state’s voter registration rolls using records from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Nadra Wilson was also listed as a noncitizen and was purged from Virginia’s voter rolls. She also didn’t realize she had been purged from Virginia’s voter registration rolls until she received a call from CNN. She said she is still undecided but “I have the right to vote.”Saule Bohoney was also wiped off of Virginia’s voter registration rolls. In NBC News’ early October national survey, just 4% of registered voters said they didn’t want to make a choice between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. One said they plan to vote for Trump, another that they are likely to vote for Harris, and another plans to not vote at all. How anyone could still be undecided a week out from a critical election can be difficult to fathom for supporters of either Trump or Harris. I do think that seeing a woman on the ballot will, hopefully, encourage more women to vote, even if they don't vote for Harris. At the time, I thought it was going to be a landslide, like 'We're about to have our first woman president.' I don't think everybody in the U.S. will ever be ready for a woman president, but I don't think everybody in the U.S. was ready for a Black president either. Even if Kamala wins, I don't think everybody in the U.S. is ready for a woman president, just like they weren't ready for a Black president. I think Harris is just bringing a lot of new people into the process who haven't necessarily felt included before.

Grateful Dead founding member and bassist Phil Lesh died Friday morning, according to a post on his official Instagram account. Shortly afterward, the band renamed itself the Grateful Dead, with Lesh on bass and Garcia on guitar.
