NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A member of the chain crew at a game between Detroit and New Orleans was taken to a hospital with a dislocated knee that occurred when Saints running back Alvin Kamara was tackled into him. The game was delayed in the first half so physicians from both teams could treat Piazza as he lay on the turf along the Detroit sideline. This was the first time since 2010 that a member of the chain crew was taken from a Saints game at the Superdome. That season, Saints receiver Courtney Roby collided hard with chain crew member Al Nastasi Jr. while Roby was serving as the gunner on punt coverage during a game against the Cleveland Browns. He ultimately recovered and returned to work with the chain crew.

The northeast, where Ukrainian troops made big, rapid gains late last year, may be somewhat less intense, but it still saw plenty of exchanges. The artillerymen spent the day firing at enemy targets with the M119s, which they say they have had for seven months. Still, over the last five days, we observe that they (Russian troops) became more active."

US-made MaxxPro vehicles "are almost indestructible," a Ukrainian fighter told The Times. While some were killed as they attempted to flee, others escaped in a MaxxPro armored fighting vehicle, despite being under heavy fire. Last year, the US announced that it would send 200 vehicles to Ukraine as part of a military aid package. But it is facing formidable obstacles, including Russia's complex defense systems in southeastern Ukraine, comprised of razor wire, anti-tank obstacles, and deadly minefields, Insider recently reported. Ukrainian forces have fired the Remote Anti-Armor Mine System, a US-made artillery round that lays anti-tank mines in flight, Insider recently reported.

A gay Ukrainian military couple that got engaged only days ago is heading off into combat. The couple told Insider that while war is tough, they haven't let go of hope. "It is very difficult," Vladyslav told Insider, but if they were able to see each other more, or possibly fight alongside one another, it'd make the days a bit easier. They told Insider, courtesy of translator Maxim Potapovych, that they met on a dating app. The atmosphere, especially in the military, has improved, the couple told Insider.
