New York officials released Monday forensic sketches and informational flyers about a possible new victim in the Gilgo Beach serial killings case, in an effort to identify them and get new leads in the roughly 20-year-old homicide. The remains of the victim, referred to as “Asian Doe,” were found in 2011 near the bodies of at least 10 others near Long Island, New York’s Gilgo Beach. Long Island architect Rex Heuermann, 61, was arrested last year in connection with the Gilgo Beach serial killings. Heuermann was initially charged with killing three women — Megan Waterman, Amber Costello and Melissa Barthelemy — and dumping their bodies near Gilgo Beach. Authorities previously disclosed that “Asian Doe” was wearing women’s clothing, but did not provide further details.

Boeing workers went on strike Friday, the latest disturbance in what has proven a devastating year for the American aircraft manufacturer. Southwest had sharply brought down its delivery target for Boeing aircraft earlier this year. A United spokesperson said the carrier was working with Boeing to understand what the impact to the airline's delivery schedule might be. "There will probably be very little direct impact on consumers as a result of the Boeing strike," Harteveldt told NBC News. The previous Boeing machinists strike, in 2008, lasted nearly two months; however, in a note to clients, Bank of America analyst Ronald Epstein said the latest one could prove as short as a week.

A 52-year-old former businessman in the banking industry said he developed deep vein thrombosis as a result of a four-hour flight from Singapore to Hong Kong. The $2.15 billion renovation has several purposes, according to Allison Ferre, media relations manager with the Port of Portland, which runs PDX. What PDX passengers will seeThe airport is attempting to provide an arboreal atmosphere with big trees and a lots of natural sunlight streaming into the overhauled terminal. Ema PeterOne of the first things passengers might notice will be 72 large trees, including black walnut, ficus and olive varieties, disbursed throughout the terminal, Port of Portland said. “PDX is the first and last impression for many of our visitors and the renovation of the main terminal is certain to make it a positive one,” Travel Portland President and CEO Jeff Miller said.

In my experience, flight attendants are only allowed to take time to eat when the food/drink service is done. It's a room only flight attendants know how to access. For example, flying from New York to Chicago is a two-hour flight, so the flight attendants only get paid for two hours. Passengers are sometimes concerned about the quality of the water because they don't know how often the water tanks are cleaned.
