New York CNN —Walgreens is set to close a substantial number of its roughly 8,600 locations across the United States as the company looks to reset the struggling pharmaceutical chain’s business. The company didn’t announce a specific number of store closures, but it said Thursday that it is planning “significant” closures of underperforming stores across America as part of a multiyear optimization program. The closures would focus on locations that aren’t profitable, too close to each other or stores struggling with theft, Wentworth told the Journal. Major drugstore chains, including CVS (CVS) and Rite Aid, have struggled in recent years because of declining profits from filling prescriptions. Wentworth told the Journal it’s losing money on filling those prescriptions.

There are varied opinions about the so-called "perfect" age gap between your children, but I can only speak from experience of having two boys born 13 months apart. When I tell people, there is usually a sharp intake of breath and a look of pity, but I would absolutely recommend a small age gap. The age gap turned from exhausting to amazing. King Charles III has been admitted to a London hospital for a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday. News images showed Charles arriving around 9 a.m. at the London Clinic, a private hospital, where his daughter-in-law Catherine, Princess of Wales, is recovering from abdominal surgery. Her office in Kensington Palace said she would remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days to recover. The king’s recovery is expected to be much swifter, though the palace did not say how long he was expected to stay in the hospital. By announcing his elective prostate procedure in advance, the palace said, Charles, 75, hoped to encourage other men with similar symptoms to get checked.
