Renner had blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries from the accident, his representative, Sam Mast, said earlier this month. Renner went to speak to a family member when the snowplow started to roll toward him. Neighbors helped Renner while he waited 40 minutes for first responders to arrive because of the weather conditions, Balaam said.

Todd Chrisley surrendered to the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pensacola in Florida, while Julie Chrisley arrived at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington in Kentucky, according to the Bureau of Prisons. Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years, wife Julie Chrisley got 7 years. In the Los Angeles trial, jurors found Weinstein guilty of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by foreign object. In opening arguments, Los Angeles prosecutors portrayed Weinstein as a relentless sexual predator who lorded his status as “the most powerful man in Hollywood” over the women he abused. Three-time Super Bowl champion and current NFL Network analyst Willie McGinest was arrested Monday in connection with an assault at a West Hollywood nightclub, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. Witnesses allegedly identified McGinest, a former linebacker for the New England Patriots, as having been allegedly involved in the assault at the Santa Monica Boulevard club. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said its West Hollywood Detective Bureau is handling the investigation. Since his retirement following the 2008 season, he has worked as an analyst for ESPN, Fox Sports and the NFL Network. “We’re aware of the matter and are in the process of gathering information,” NFL Network spokesperson Alex Riethmiller said.
A woman broke into Robert De Niro's New York City townhouse Monday and tried to take all the presents around his Christmas tree while he was home, police said. At around 2:45 a.m., officers saw the woman, who is known to police and has prior arrests, inside the basement of the Oscar-winning actor's East 65th Street residence on the Upper East Side. "I didn't go to Robert De Niro's house," she could be heard saying in the video. Aviles has 26 previous arrests, including 16 this year on burglary and petit larceny charges, NBC New York reported. Seven of the burglaries, all of them on the Upper East Side, occurred within a three-week span that started around Thanksgiving, the senior police officials said.

LOS ANGELES — Superstar rapper Megan Thee Stallion said fellow hip-hop artist Tory Lanez ordered her to "dance" before he shot her feet in 2020 after a party in the Hollywood Hills. Megan Thee Stallion, 27, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, took the stand Tuesday, the second day of Lanez's assault trial. Megan Thee Stallion said she told police she had injured her feet on glass when they asked why she was bleeding, according to the news agency. Megan Thee Stallion later publicly accused Lanez of having shot her in an Instagram Live video in August 2020. Megan Thee Stallion said that when helicopters and police cars descended upon the scene, she downplayed her injuries out of fear of law enforcement.
A woman accused Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter of raping her at a concert in Washington State two decades ago, when she was 17, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday. "He also said he’d turn people against me because he’s Nick Carter and he would wreck my life," the woman is quoted as saying in a news release from her lawyer, Mark Boskovich. In a statement, Michael Holtz, an attorney for Carter, called the allegations "legally meritless" and "entirely untrue." Holtz said the woman had been "manipulated into making false allegations about Nick — and those allegations have changed repeatedly and materially over time. Carter raped her a second time on a bed near the back of the tour bus while she begged him to stop, the suit alleges.
Five women, including two actors who appeared on “The Cosby Show,” filed a lawsuit in New York on Monday, accusing disgraced comedy legend Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them. The plaintiffs named the actor, Kaufman Astoria Studios Inc., The Carsey-Werner Company and NBCUniversal Media as defendants in the 34-page lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. NBC News does not typically identify victims of sexual assault, but the five women in this civil action all named themselves in the complaint. When she relented, Cosby allegedly "touched her breasts and without her consent forcibly pressed his penis into" her back, according to the suit. She says she felt sluggish as Cosby allegedly sexually assaulted her with his finger and "ejaculated from the sexual encounter."
Kim Kardashian has been granted a restraining order against a man who has been trying to get in contact with her and claimed to speak with her telepathically, according to court documents obtained by TODAY.com. On Monday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Adrian Gidaya Roxas granted Kardashian, 42, the permanent five-year restraining order, ordering the man to stay at least 100 yards away from Kardashian and prohibiting him from contacting her directly or indirectly. The reality TV star also said that she was worried that without a restraining order the man might attempt to gain access to her and he might “escalate to physical violence,” especially after he claimed to own a gun. Per the restraining order, the man cannot own, possess or buy any firearms and must surrender any he has to law enforcement. A lawsuit filed Monday in New York City alleges that Hollywood writer-director James Toback is a “serial sexual predator” who targeted and abused dozens of women over decades while often saying he wanted to cast them in his films. The Harvard Club of New York City, where the suit alleges Toback "lured" several of the women, is also named as a defendant. In some cases cited in the suit, Toback allegedly blocked women from escaping or chased them when they fled before sexually assaulting them. In several instances include in the suit, Toback allegedly masturbated in front of the women or on them, and penetrated them without their consent. The 89-page suit alleges assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
LOS ANGELES — The jury weighing the rape charges against “That ‘70s Show” star Danny Masterson announced Wednesday it was hopelessly deadlocked and a mistrial was declared. Masterson has also denied assaulting a fourth woman, identified as Jane Doe #4, who told the court she too had been raped by him. While the judge allowed testimony by Jane Doe #4, Masterson was not criminally charged with raping her. The panel, on Nov. 18, sent Olmedo a note saying they had been “unable to reach a unanimous decision” on any of the three forcible rape counts against Masterson. “You have been deliberating for an insufficient amount of time,” Olmedo said before excusing them for the holiday break.
The estate of Jeffrey Epstein has agreed to pay the U.S. Virgin Islands more than $105 million to settle a lawsuit alleging that he used the territory as the base of an extensive sex trafficking operation. "We are sending a clear message that the Virgin Islands will not serve as a haven for human trafficking." The estate also agreed to pay $450,000 to repair environmental damage around Great Saint James, the other Epstein-owned island. Jeffrey Epstein's estate on Little Saint James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Epstein bought Little Saint James, off St. Thomas, for $7.95 million in 1998, NBC News reported.
Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Ye was finalized Tuesday, with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West agreeing to pay the reality show star $200,000 a month in child support payments, court documents show. According to settlement papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Ye agreed to begin paying Kardashian next month for their four children, all of whom are under 10. Kardashian's lawyer declined to comment. Kardashian filed for divorce last year, claiming in court documents that Ye’s social media posts about their family were “misinformation” that caused her emotional distress. In court documents, a lawyer for the rapper described her assertion as “double hearsay” and said she couldn’t prove he wrote the posts.

Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens punched a man over the weekend in Southern California, a brawl that the retired football great said Monday was self-defense. Once he entered the store, Owens said a customer approached him, identified themselves as a San Francisco 49ers fan and they exchanged pleasantries. "The guy I ended up fighting, he was basically threatening a guy, a fan of mine that was in the store," said Owens. Even two days later, Owens said he hasn't been able to figure out why the man was so aggressive to the 49ers fan. But the (49ers) fan was on the phone when I was talking to him.
