The Cut reports that Stanleys have become the new status symbols for middle school girls. AdvertisementLewis's prediction seems spot-on: The cup is now the hot item for middle school girls — a demographic not exactly known for kind behavior if you deviate from the norm. Middle school is when kids can be ruthless about who has or doesn't have some arbitrary status symbol, whether it's Uggs or folding the waistband of your gym shorts the right way. The program, known as Snap Stars, gained initial popularity for its lucrative paydays based on its stories ad-revenue-sharing model. But these payouts aren't the only way Snap Stars can make money. For instance, online travel agency Priceline was among the first brands to work with Snapchat creators through the Snap Star Collab Studio program early last year. The Snap Star Collab Studio program is similar to TikTok's creator marketplace where brands can pitch creators directly.

The McNugget Buddies were first introduced in a 1988 Happy Meal, according to McDonald's. They made appearances in McDonald's Canada comics in the early 1993, were available as Sports Buddies in the UK, Japan and Singapore in 1992 and were last seen in 1996 for McNugget Buddies Halloween. CNN —This week, by far the most feverishly discussed outfit didn’t come from a member of the Kardashian clan or an off-duty model. Instead, it was Kristina Avakyan (known on TikTok as @subwaysessions), a New York resident who pushed the boundaries of style with a look that was anything but average. In a TikTok that’s now been watched over 1.9 million times, Avakyan paces across her runway (the 6 train subway platform) in what has become a deeply polarizing outfit. The outfit has been seen over 1.9 million times on TikTok and 62 million times on Twitter this week. The phrase “#personalstyle” has more than 858 million views on TikTok, and in 2022 the New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman wrote about how to capture it.

My immersion in all things Swatch yielded two important outcomes: a new appreciation for the brand’s archive of delightful designs, and a Once Again on my wrist. It’s a great style for everyday wear, but it’s also exactly what I want in a travel watch. The things that make the Once Again special are the same things that make any watch desirable, namely an appealing aesthetic, a unique design and a great story. It’s also lightweight, comfortable and at 34 mm, the perfect size for my wrist. I also know enough about expensive watches to understand that whether it costs $60 or $60,000, the most important thing about a timepiece is how it makes you feel.

The BK Barbie Combo features a cheeseburger topped with bacon bits and dressed with a bright pink sauce that Burger King says has a "smoky" flavor. Once the straw is put into the dessert, Burger King tops it off with a pink frosted donut. It's not the first time that Burger King has offered a movie-themed meal. But unlike the Spider-Man burger, it doesn't appear that the BK Barbie Combo will be making its way stateside.
