London CNN —“We mostly know classical, but we could give it a shot,” the conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra tells hip-hop group Cypress Hill when discussing a potential collaboration in a 1996 episode of “The Simpsons” titled “Homerpalooza.”Now, 28 years later, the two acclaimed ensembles are making it happen, performing together in real life at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night. B Real, a member of the pioneering group, posted to X: “Tonight we are rocking with the @londonsymphony at @RoyalAlbertHall.. “Fortunately as fate would have it, we will fulfill this objective tonight. ☆ Waymo's robotaxis are better than some San Francisco drivers

Waymo's autonomous driver is pretty damn smart, and aside from a few hesitations, the robotaxi offers a smooth, comfortable experience with competitive pricing against other ride-hailing apps. Lloyd Lee/Business InsiderWaymo's 5th generation autonomous driver could be best described as a safe but not an annoyingly cautious driver. It did the same thing to give itself more room when it detected a large parked bucket truck slightly in Waymo's lane. The expectation I had that the Waymo driver would be stiff, as the term "robot taxi" might suggest, was dispelled throughout the rides. The spokesperson said it's also possible I failed to notice something the Waymo car picked up.

I was sitting in Steve Bannon’s Washington living room in 2019. By then populists had already racked up some big wins — Brexit in Britain, Trump’s victory in 2016. Bannon knew I opposed him in every particular and abhorred much of what he said, but he laid out his grand vision cheerfully, confidently. I found Bannon, currently the host of the podcast “War Room,” to be embroiled and embattled as usual. I should emphasize that I wasn’t trying to debate Bannon or rebut his beliefs; I wanted to understand how he sees the current moment.
