CNN —Back-to-back-to-back systems will make their way across the United States over the next few days, with the last – and largest – storm bringing heavy rain, blizzard conditions and the potential for tornadoes.
Along the coast, heavy rainfall and gusty winds will hammer the area with 1 to 2 inches of rainfall expected through Friday … before the main event arrives.

“As the system moves into the Plains early next week, a spring-like storm system develops,” Myers said.
That threat is also increasing across the southern Plains and Gulf Coast region.
