In the latest poll, 79% of Black registered voters say they would definitely vote, up from 68% in the June poll. The poll suggests Trump’s improvements among Black voters relative to 2020 are driven largely by Black voters under the age of 60. Harris is also generally viewed more favorably among Black registered voters compared with registered voters overall, even after accounting for Black voters’ overwhelming Democratic lean. Democratic Black likely voters, however, are twice as likely as Democratic likely voters overall to consider the economy their top issue (42%, compared with 19%). Results among Black registered voters have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 7.8 percentage points; among Black likely voters, it is plus or minus 7.7 percentage points.

Bitcoin is likely to reach at least one more all-time high by the end of this year, according to Standard Chartered. That's likely regardless of whether Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump wins the presidential election this November – a variable that others have viewed as a make-or-break game changer for the industry since Trump threw his public support behind the industry this summer. "BTC will end 2024 at fresh all-time highs under either election outcome – [circa] $125,000 level under Trump or c.$75,000 level under Harris," he said. The firm maintains its view that bitcoin will reach the $200,000 level by the end of 2025, regardless of this year's election outcome. That's one reason so many are hoping the election could trigger some movement in bitcoin.

Belly fat tends to get a bad rap, but new research shows that one kind of belly fat can be healthier than others — provided you’re willing to get moving. The fat, the study found, essentially behaved differently in people with the same percentage of body fat, based on their long-term exercise habits. Regular exercisers had less rigid or fibrous fat tissue, which allows fat cells beneath the skin to expand to store fat, one of the body’s primary sources of energy. While expanding fat cells may sound like a bad thing, it’s actually better for health than having inflexible fat tissue. Another indication of this was that they had more proteins involved with fat metabolism in their fat tissue, the study found.

The Board said it reviewed three cases involving the use of “From the River to the Sea” on Facebook and said that all appeals to remove the content were closed without human review. Those users then appealed to the Board, which exists for users to challenge Meta’s appeals process on Facebook, Instagram or Threads.
