Jessie Hill, argued that the state's decision to appeal the stay at the Ohio Supreme Court defies “long-standing, well-established rules" on such actions. A $10,000 bill issued by the US Treasury in 1934 just sold at auction for a record-breaking $480,000. "Large-denomination notes always have drawn the interest of collectors of all levels," Heritage Auctions' Dustin Johnston said. A $10,000 bill of similar condition, but of a less rare series number, sold for about $300,000 in May 2022. The previous record for a 1934 $10,000 bill was $384,000 in September 2020, according to CNN. As of 2009, there were only 336 $10,000 bills, 342 $5,000 bills, and 165,362 $1,000 bills known to exist.

Coleman missed out on the podium at the World Championships in Budapest but broke the tape in a blistering 9.83 seconds as fellow American Lyles finished second in 9.85. Coleman, the 2018 Diamond League champion, exploded off the blocks and Lyles was unable to overcome a slower start. Jamaican Jackson finished second at the World Championships behind American Sha'Carri Richardson but took the lead in the last half of the women's 100 metres before breaking the tape in 10.70. World champion Warholm was strong favourite after claiming three Diamond League wins this year but Benjamin finished strongly to clock 46.39 seconds, the year's best time and fourth-fastest ever.

Over the weekend, The Post updated the excerpt it had published and offered a correction to its readers. “After publication of this adaptation, the author learned that his book mischaracterized the attempted attack by Ukrainian drones on the Russian fleet in Crimea,” the correction stated. This version reflects that change.”CNN also updated its story on Monday, noting Isaacson had backpedaled his initial claims. “After this story published, Walter Isaacson clarified his explanation regarding Elon Musk restricting Ukrainian military access to Starlink, a critical satellite internet service,” an editor’s note said.
