CNN —A Los Angeles jury has found actor Danny Masterson guilty on two of the three counts of rape in a retrial on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. During a panel, Ashton Kutcher said that companies not using AI tools like ChatGPT will shutter. In fact, actor-turned-investor Ashton Kutcher is so impressed that he thinks businesses that aren't using AI tools will suffer. "If you're a company, and you're sleeping on this, you're probably going to be out of business," he said about ChatGPT during a panel at the Milken Institute's Global Conference on Monday. Education, for instance, will be revolutionized by AI, Kutcher said. Kutcher's thoughts on AI come in response to the meteoric rise of generative AI tools.
Students of the Bloom Institute of Technology have filed a class action lawsuit against the school. They say the coding bootcamp, formerly known as Lambda School, advertised false job placement rates. While students have previously taken legal action against BloomTech, this is the first class action lawsuit against it. Former BloomTech students said that the school fell short of its promise with under-qualified instructors and an incomplete curriculum, Insider first reported. Leaked documents also showed that BloomTech's job placement rates were much lower than advertised, Insider previously reported.

The company announced a $65 million Series C funding round in December 2021 and has raised $92 million to date. Celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashton Kutcher, Robert Downey Jr. and LL Cool J have invested in Forethought's technology. Kutcher, 44, is using the marathon as an opportunity to raise funds for Thorn, the organization he founded alongside Demi Moore in 2012 to combat child sex trafficking, according to his Instagram. Kutcher is part of a team of 100 marathon runners who have pledged to raise funds for Thorn, the website says.
