The New Mexico attorney general said Tuesday that internal documents from Snapchat released as part of an ongoing lawsuit show how the platform failed to manage and notify users about sextortion on the platform. The suit, which Attorney General Raúl Torrez originally filed in September, includes the text of some of Snap’s internal correspondence. Snapchat and other social media platforms, like Instagram and TikTok, have been under intensified scrutiny from both the federal and state governments. Leaders of Snap, TikTok, Meta, Discord and X all testified before Congress this year about child safety. In a statement on its website Tuesday, Snap said it has built a platform with “safety guardrails” and “deliberate design choices” to protect minors.

Mega airports are defined as those with 33 million or more passengers per year. The study was fielded from August 2023 through July 2024 and airports were measured based on a 1,000-point scale of overall customer satisfaction. Managing Director of Travel, Hospitality, Retail and Customer Service, tells CNBC Make It this year's study found that airports are swamped with travelers and that most airports have regained their passenger volumes from before the covid-19 pandemic. "There seems to be no slack in demand and airports are, in general, doing a little bit of a better job of making people satisfied, mostly with food and beverage," he says.

Further, 80% of the Amazon professionals polled reported that they know of a colleague considering looking for another job because of the announcement. Another survey from Glassdoor finds that 74% of Amazon workers are "rethinking" the future of their careers, whether at the tech giant or elsewhere. Amazon workers are "strongly dissatisfied" with the policy change, according to an anonymous survey created by employees, reported by Fortune.
