Labeling this as a 10-minute sandwich makes it seem deceptively low-effort, but I still enjoyed it. In total, I spent a little under $50 to make the sandwich. In addition, Ramsay didn't really give exact timing for each step, so it was hard to know when things were "done." Each ingredient in Ramsay's steak sandwich added a delicious pop of flavor, and it wasn't as expensive to make at home as I'd anticipated. I spent a little under $50 for all the ingredients and had plenty left over for additional tries.

In addition to Wegovy and Ozempic, the GLP-1 class includes Eli Lilly's highly popular weight loss drug Zepbound and diabetes treatment Mounjaro. VanGilder signed up nearly four years ago and started taking the weekly diabetes injection Ozempic specifically for weight loss. The big difference between Calibrate and prior weight loss efforts, VanGilder said, is that she doesn't feel like she's dieting. Calibrate is one of the only companies to regularly release reports detailing the results of its weight loss program. The federal Medicare program by law can't cover weight loss drugs unless the prescription is for another approved health benefit, such as diabetes or cardiovascular health.

After the Dow Jones Industrial Average topped 40,000 last week, CNBC's Jim Cramer reflected Monday on his many years in the business, saying investors should take a step back and realize how far the market has come. At first, Cramer admitted he felt somewhat cautious about celebrating the milestone, thinking back to the Dow's great losses over his decades-long career on Wall Street. But then Cramer remembered when the average was at 1,000, saying perhaps he should "demonstrate some confidence" in the market after all these immense gains. "Consumers continue to be even more discriminating with every dollar that they spend as they faced elevated prices in their day-to-day spending," McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski said on the company's conference call in late April. Paul Weaver | SOPA Images | Getty ImagesFor more than two years, consumers have dealt with sharply rising prices. But that doesn't mean the actual prices seen on grocery store shelves or restaurant menus will fall, and shoppers are feeling that pinch. While some CEOs have said that consumers are growing more cautious, others — like those in the airline industry — have celebrated strong and persistent spending. Corporate misfires can also lead to disappointing sales, even if their shoppers aren't necessarily pulling back on their spending.
