CNN —President Joe Biden has decided that the headquarters of US Space Command will remain in Colorado and not move to Alabama, two US officials told CNN on Monday, reversing a decision by then-President Donald Trump. US Space Command, which is a joint command and separate from the US Space Force military branch, is currently housed in Colorado Springs, but the Air Force recommended near the end of Trump’s presidency that the command be moved to Huntsville, Alabama. But recently, managers are starting to prize a different trait: agreeableness. In situations with high levels of uncertainty, agreeableness has shown itself to be an asset, according to a new study published in Collective Intelligence. All study participants took a 242-question personality assessment, which recorded how much of each of the Big Five personality traits they might have. The Big Five personality traits are: NeuroticismExtraversionOpennessConscientiousnessAgreeableness Neuroticism decreases team performance, according to the study, especially when uncertainty is involved in the group task. Past research on agreeableness, though, has shown the trait to be "mostly irrelevant" to completing tasks, Peterson says.

New York CNN Business —Larry Summers, the former Obama and Clinton official, slammed parts of President Joe Biden’s economic agenda as “increasingly dangerous” this week, saying it could end up causing higher prices for Americans. Specifically, Summers took issue with the administration’s trade stance, efforts to prop up US manufacturing and its antitrust crackdown. “It is wrong to suppose that manufacturing-based economic nationalism is a route to higher incomes or better standards of living for the middle class,” Summers said. The Conference Board's consumer confidence gauge just hit its highest level in two years. The Conference BoardAmericans have rosier views of the labor market, the data showed, and more people reported feeling "good" about family finances while fewer reported feeling "bad." "[B]oth indicators are on an upswing as consumers take positive signals from the resilient labor market and receding inflation in recent months," the Barclays analysts wrote. The improving economic outlook reflects easing inflation and the ongoing resilience of the labor market, Peterson said. "This likely reveals consumers' belief that labor market conditions will remain favorable."
