The House Rules Committee held a rare Saturday session to begin setting up the process for next week's voting. CNN —South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol warned on Wednesday that his country and its allies “will not stand idly by” if North Korea receives Russian help to boost its weapons of mass destruction – just days after the leaders of the two nuclear-armed nations held a closely watched summit. New York CNN —Kraft Heinz is recalling about 83,000 cases of its individually wrapped Kraft Singles American cheese because they might pose a choking hazard. “Kraft Heinz is committed to upholding the highest safety and quality standards and apologizes for this inconvenience,” the company said. They can also call Kraft Heinz at 1-800-280-8252 to get their money back. CNN —Giant pandas living in captivity could be suffering from “jet lag” if their body clocks don’t match their environments, scientists say. “This is definitely a concept that could apply to all captive animals,” Gandia told CNN. Giant pandas were chosen as the focus for the study partly because they live highly seasonal lives. Gandia explained to CNN that the latitudinal range for giant pandas is between 26 and 42 degrees north. A team of 13 observers, led by Gandia, monitored 11 giant pandas at six different zoos, all of which were born in captivity.
