Donald Trump's ex-accountant spent three hours recognizing documents on Tuesday. AdvertisementAdvertisementThe New York attorney general and Donald Trump's lawyers used dynamic visuals and bombastic language to savage one another in court on Monday. Come Tuesday morning, the state found itself having to spend three hours asking Trump's former accountant Donald Bender to authenticate documents. He'd ask Bender if he recognized the signature of Trump Organization executive Allen Weisselberg, which was helpfully labeled "Allen Weisselberg," and that of Donald Trump Jr., helpfully labeled "Donald Trump Jr."AdvertisementAdvertisementBender, with his eye for detail, always did. James is hoping the trial brings $250 million in penalties and that Trump and his adult sons are banned from ever running a business in New York state again.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — In the first few minutes on the phone with The Associated Press, Chappell Roan shared a revealing fact about herself. Born and raised in Missouri, Roan left the state for Hollywood not long after being discovered on YouTube by Atlantic Records. Roan, like Rodrigo, has a knack for candor in theatrical, cheeky pop songwriting — even when the truth is embarrassing — emphasized by her vocal range. ROAN: It's evolving constantly, but more recently it’s been more of a drag project, especially now that I’m (on) tour. I'm really uncomfortable by sex scenes in movies, or when people flirt with me.

REUTERS/Shelley Christians/File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsBRUSSELS, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The United States is optimistic it will conclude an agreement with the European Union to allow critical minerals mined or processed in Europe to qualify for U.S. clean vehicle tax breaks, a senior U.S. official said on Monday. The transatlantic partners are negotiating whether and how EU critical minerals, such as lithium and nickel, can qualify for green subsidies under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, which promotes products manufactured in North America. He added there was no plan to tie an agreement on critical minerals to the result of separate transatlantic negotiations to resolve a bilateral dispute over U.S. import tariffs on EU steel. The United States signed a minerals deal with Japan in March. Fernandez also said he was meeting EU officials to discuss an agenda for the next joint Trade and Technology Council, which the United States will host before the end of the year.

Schwarzenegger told The New York Times Magazine there's still a "home" for him in today's GOP. But he was critical of the California Republican Party, which he said wasn't listening to citizens. But he was much less charitable about the California Republican Party, which has struggled to elect any statewide candidates in recent years. Donald Trump suggested that California keep its vast forests damp to prevent wildfire. AdvertisementAdvertisementFormer President Donald Trump revealed an unusual plan to stop wildfires from raging in California. Trump has previously falsely claimed that California wildfires were sparked by trees that "explode," and he has long subscribed to the theory that wildfires could be prevented if forests were cleared of dead trees and debris. In 2018, Trump suggested raking leaves on forest floors could help prevent fires. Trump did not provide further details about his damp forests plan, but he said California Governor Gavin Newsom would probably roadblock him.

But prices are shooting up in Jersey City as its neighbors refuse to build. AdvertisementAdvertisementNew Yorkers have been taking notice of Jersey City real estate for years, and its popularity as an alternative to the ever-less-affordable housing market in the city is growing. Between 2010 and 2018, Hudson County, which includes Jersey City, built housing at more than twice the rate that New York City did. New housing in Jersey City is overwhelmingly market rate rather than being explicitly built as affordable housing for lower- and middle-income residents. "The issues facing Jersey City tenants are multifaceted, but the primary concern is to guarantee housing stability."

This helps food-truck owners make informed decisions related to parking and operating hours, which significantly influences their sales performance. In fact, a 2022 study published by Elsevier found that location was a key challenge for food-truck owners, as it affected customer targeting, exposure, and financial sustainability.
