The 80-year-old Austrian later apologized for his remarks, and Pérez, speaking ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix, said that he had also received a personal apology. “It’s completely unacceptable what he said,” Mercedes driver Hamilton, who has long spoken out against racial discrimination in Formula One, told Sky Sports when asked about Marko’s comments. “I think it just highlights firstly the work that still needs to be done. When you have a personal relationship with someone, I think it’s a feeling you’re going to have.”CNN has contacted Red Bull for comment. Verstappen is aiming to win a record-extending 11th consecutive race in Singapore on Sunday, though he said this week that he doesn’t think Red Bull is as competitive on street circuits compared to other tracks.

Marko, 80, apologised last week after referring to Perez as a "South American" who was less focused than dominant Red Bull team mate Max Verstappen or the team's now-retired champion Sebastian Vettel. "We can confirm that Helmut Marko has received a written warning and been reminded of his responsibilities as a public figure in motor sport in line with the FIA Code of Ethics," said an FIA spokesman at the Singapore Grand Prix. Perez said on Thursday he had accepted a personal apology from Marko, whose comments continued to provoke a strong reaction in the paddock. It was not the first time Marko had referred to Perez as a South American, although the Mexican comes from Guadalajara which is geographically in North America. "I'm Italian so I know that sometimes we have been facing the same comments," said Alfa Romeo's Alessandro Alunni Bravi.

LA PLATA, Argentina, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Wielding a chainsaw above his head in the Argentine city of La Plata this week, radical presidential front-runner Javier Milei riled up thousands of supporters angry with 124% inflation and a painful cost-of-living crisis. We must remove all the people who have left this country destroyed," said Rosalia Garcia, 51, a public accountant at Milei's rally in La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province. "The political caste is afraid," he yelled in La Plata. Milei got just under 30% in the August primary, just ahead of Bullrich and Massa. The United States has been pumping so much groundwater it's splitting the ground open. Brian Conway/AZGSBut humans are pumping groundwater faster than Earth can naturally replenish it. A giant fissure in the Mojave Desert in California from groundwater pumping near Lucerne Lake. And four out of every 10 sites hit "all-time lows" in the past decade as American groundwater pumping outpaces water replenishment, per the Times. As a result, the severity of excessive groundwater pumping nationwide is not as easy to recognize and may help explain why regulation on pumping is so limited.

Financial experts, however, say that's not the case, and that all couples should consider them. They said prenups can be like insurance or a financial safety net. Financial experts, though, see a different side to the agreements and think all couples should consider them. Theresa Viera, an attorney based in South Carolina, told NPR that prenups are financial safety nets, not harbingers of separation. Prenups can protect you from being responsible for your spouse's debt, Orman added, and protect your property both before and after the marriage.

Johanna Furtado is suing Peloton, alleging its bike caused her son's death in 2022. Ryan Furtado was later found by the New York Police Department. Johanna Furtado alleges in the suit that Peloton did not provide enough warning that the bike could cause injury if people used it to pull themselves off the floor. On the bike Ryan was using, the lawsuit claims there was only a single warning label, which the suit calls "inadequate." The lawsuit is only one of the issues Peloton has faced over the past few years.

Marko apologises for offensive comments about Perez

Marko had made his remarks on the energy drink company's television station following last weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza. An attempt by Marko to clarify his comments only dug a deeper hole. While Marko attends races in Red Bull Racing uniform, he reports to the energy drink company and is not an employee of the British-based champions. Germany's now-retired Vettel won four for Red Bull from 2010-13. Marko did compliment Perez for finishing second in Italy last weekend, a race that handed Verstappen a record 10th win in a row.

GRAND BOURG, Argentina, Sept 5 (Reuters) - High school students in Argentina pieced together a massive mural of soccer superstar Lionel Messi out of thousands of recycled plastic bottle caps, with a video of the work of art shared widely online. But love for Messi seems to loom even larger. The new mural fills the floor of an open-air high school courtyard in the Grand Bourg neighbourhood, just outside the capital Buenos Aires. Sebastian Ramirez, a teacher at the school, posted a video clip on social media that went viral summing up a widely-held assessment of Messi's legacy. Video of the mural's making showed dozens of children hunched over a colour-coded design and boxes of bottle caps scattered around.

The Dutch driver's victory on a sunny afternoon at Monza's "Temple of Speed" outside Milan was also Red Bull's 15th in succession -- another Formula One record that looks set to continue. Verstappen stretched his lead in the standings over Perez to 145 points with eight rounds remaining. Red Bull lead Mercedes in the constructors' championship by 310 points with Ferrari moving up to third. CNN —Max Verstappen further cemented his status as the dominant driver of his generation with a historic victory at the Italian Grand Prix, his 10th consecutive race win. No Formula One driver has ever won as many races in a row in a season. The Red Bull driver had matched the previous all-time record of nine, set by Sebastian Vettel 10 years ago, at last weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix. Victory at Monza was Verstappen’s 12th of the year and increases the likelihood of Red Bull becoming the first F1 team to win every race in a season. “I never would’ve believed that that was possible,” the Dutchman said after the race on the ESPN broadcast when asked about the record.
