One of the best perks that comes with The Platinum Card® from American Express is that you can access a ton of airport lounges. This morning, American Express announced another new expansion of one of the Platinum Card's best perks. While the Platinum Card has a higher fee than most credit cards — $695 — it also comes with rewards, perks, and benefits that more than outweigh that fee. The Centurion Lounges are only accessible to Platinum Card cardholders (and people with the invitation-only "Black" card). In addition to the Centurion Lounges, American Express operates eleven "International American Express Lounges" at foreign airports including in Mumbai, Delhi, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Sydney, and, most recently announced, Melbourne.
