In about a month, their cross-border love briefly put them in jail, The New York Times reported. Haider met Meena in person for the first time in Nepal without her children in March, the Times reported, citing police officials. AMSTERDAM/NEW DELHI, July 6 (Reuters) - The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in the Hague rejected on Thursday India's objections to a Pakistan-initiated procedure over water use in the Indus River basin, reopening a procedure that had been blocked for many years. India called the arbitration proceeding illegal as a neutral expert was also looking at the issue and the World Bank-brokered treaty prohibits parallel proceedings. India has boycotted The Hague court proceedings and questioned the competence of the court. A spokesperson for India's foreign ministry, Arindam Bagchi, said India's "consistent and principled position has been that the constitution of this so-called court of arbitration is in contravention of the clear letter and spirit of the Indus Water Treaty". Pakistan's Foreign Office said that it remained fully committed to the implementation of the Indus Water Treaty and its settlement mechanism, which it termed a "foundational agreement" between the two countries.

June 22 (Reuters) - IT consulting firm Accenture forecast fourth-quarter revenue below Wall Street estimates on Thursday on worries that rising economic uncertainty will keep IT budgets tight and prevent businesses from signing fresh contracts. Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH.O) last month said it faced pressure in signing smaller contracts due to softer discretionary spending. Accenture forecast current-quarter revenue in the range of $15.75 billion to $16.35 billion. Accenture's new bookings, or deals in the pipeline, grew 2% to $17.2 billion in the third quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $16.56 billion, in line with estimates.
