The gathering of AfD members, neo-Nazis and other far-right extremists took place at a lakeside hotel outside the city of Potsdam on November 25. The AfD told CNN that the two “separated with mutual agreement.”However, the idea of a “mass deportation plan” was openly supported by one AfD representative in the state of Brandenberg. The first-in-the-nation primary could be the last stand for the anti-Trump Republican. Since 2016, a shrinking band of Republican strategists, retired lawmakers and donors has tried to oust Donald J. Trump from his commanding position in the party. Ahead of New Hampshire’s primary on Tuesday, the old guard of the G.O.P. Anything but a very close finish for her in the state, where moderate, independent voters make up 40 percent of the electorate, would send Mr. Trump on an all-but-unstoppable march to the nomination. Should Trump's lead hold, says Andrew Smith, director of the University of New Hampshire poll, Trump will become the first candidate – aside from sitting presidents – to win both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary. "We're so far past the days when voters nationally were really just waking up" to the campaign debates in the early weeks of a presidential election year, says Dante Scala, a University of New Hampshire professor and author of the book "Stormy Weather: The New Hampshire Primary and Presidential Politics." New Hampshire GOP voters, however, are a different breed of Republicans, Smith says, focusing more on fiscal conservatism and small government. Let's be real: It's all on the line for Nikki Haley in next week’s Republican primary in the Granite State. If the former South Carolina governor can't win in New Hampshire, I'm not sure where she can win. (This has historically been the case, and, no, registered Democrats can't vote in the primary, unlike what Trump has said.) New Hampshire Republicans tend to be on the relatively wealthy side compared to other Republican primary electorates. It's more to say that Haley has no real statistical argument for how she can win the nomination if she can't win in New Hampshire.

Spirit is a Kansas-based company that builds the fuselages and other parts of Boeing planes, including the 737 Max 9. Spirit built the door plug which came off the 737 Max 9 on January 5, leaving a gaping hole in the fuselage. The National Transportation Safety Board is testing the recovered door plug to determine whether four missing bolts were ever installed. AdvertisementAlaska Airlines and United Airlines, the two biggest operators of the 737 Max 9, also found loose hardware on some of the grounded aircraft. 171 Boeing 737 Max 9 jets have been grounded by the FAA.

CNN —Boeing says its CEO told workers of Spirit AeroSystems — its subcontractor that builds the 737 Max 9 fuselage — that “we’re going to learn from” this month’s blowout on Alaska Airlines flight 1282. Boeing says CEO Dave Calhoun addressed 200 Spirit AeroSystems employees as part of a town hall meeting held in Wichita, Kansas, on Wednesday. Spirit AeroSystems is a major Boeing contractor that builds the fuselages of several Boeing jets, including the 737 Max. But the Alaska Airlines incident is not the first time that there have been problems with the quality of its work causing problems for Boeing planes. The supplier used to be part of Boeing but Boeing spun-off its Wichita division and Oklahoma operations into Spirit AeroSystems.

Flannery Associates has spent about $800 million grabbing up land throughout the county that sits about 60 miles above San Francisco. In a lawsuit, Flannery Associates accused landowners of conspiring to inflate the land prices. CNN —Nikki Haley’s goal in New Hampshire’s Republican presidential primary Tuesday is to “be strong,” she said at a CNN town hall Thursday night. Ron DeSantis, Haley didn’t mention him at all during the town hall. When the questions were focused more specifically on Trump, Haley sounded more like a disappointed parent than an angry politician. Haley doubled down, saying that America was founded on the idea that all men are created equal. “I know President Trump well,” Haley said.
