Shares of Nordea Bank , the Finnish lender, have been labeled "too cheap to ignore" by investment bank Berenberg. Net interest income – earned through the differences in rates offered to savers and borrowers — grew 7% year-on-year to 3.86 billion euros. "Trading on only 7.5x our [financial year] 2025 earnings — an 8% premium to the sector — we think Nordea is too cheap to ignore. However, the Berenberg analyst believes that Nordea's net interest income is relatively resilient, noting that "the market still underappreciates Nordea's [net interest income] stability, in our view, which contrasts favourably to that of more rate-sensitive Nordic peers." The analyst also said that recent challenges, including a slight miss on second-quarter net interest income expectations or a modest cost increase, should not deter investors.

As the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower sailed toward Norfolk Harbor, a small cargo plane landed on the flight deck amid swirling wind and rain. After the plane jerked to a halt, Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser, and top Navy officials disembarked. While the sailors cheered, the chief of naval operations recounted the strike group’s achievements. The Eisenhower set sail from Norfolk a week after the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel, and its six-month deployment had been extended three times. London CNN —The International Monetary Fund has warned that stubborn inflation could keep interest rates higher for longer than expected, increasing fiscal and financial risks around the world. Persistently high prices for services — which include haircuts, hotels and restaurants — as well as escalating trade tensions are propping up inflation and raising the prospect that interest rates will stay high for a while yet, the IMF cautioned Tuesday in its latest World Economic Outlook. The warning highlights that the global economy is not yet in the clear when it comes to inflation, which explains the caution on the part of central banks in cutting interest rates. However, services inflation came in higher than expected. The agency blamed sticky services price inflation for “holding up progress” on reducing overall inflation.

Around the dinner table in the early 2000s, David Katzman would quiz his kids about their dream startups. ModelFit employees told BI that Gelband used the Pelvicore Pro only with the permission of its creator, the physical therapist Christina Christie. Once, in October 2018, David Katzman met with Facebook's ad team to discuss SDC's before-and-after advertisements, which violated the tech company's policies. SDC employees worked on Pvolve marketing campaigns, and Pvolve employees took trips on David Katzman's jet. It's a juicy prize for winning a generative AI coding competition hosted by Inriver's owners, private equity firm Thomas H. Lee. It's one way the Boston-based buyout firm has been able to implement generative AI coding assistants among its portfolio of middle-market companies. The goal is to accelerate software development so that portfolio companies can do more work with the same amount of resources. He also persists that deploying generative AI coding assistants is not a cost exercise, but a means to productivity. Now, the key for the SRG is educating portfolio companies on what problems AI can fix and which it can't.

J.D. Vance’s Chance

Trump chose Senator J.D. With Vance’s hardscrabble upbringing and Trump-aligned ideology, the senator is Trump’s attempt to appeal to those voters. Instead of balancing the ticket with someone who could expand Trump’s appeal to new voters, Trump has anointed the senator as the future of the Republican Party. The party that Trump took over in 2016 — one guided by establishmentarians like Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and John McCain — is now unrecognizable. (As an author and private citizen, Vance said in 2016 that Trump might be “America’s Hitler.” Later, as he ran for office, the Ohioan embraced Trumpism.)

Gig workers have had to get choosier about jobsThe dilemma isn't unique to the food delivery world. Timothy Turer, who has worked in rideshare and gig delivery in Florida since 2016, remembers the dirt-cheap fares that Uber and Lyft offered riders early on. But with many telling BI that the job has gotten less profitable for them lately, or setting up their own delivery services, or even begging food delivery customers for better tips, it's clear cracks are starting to show in the well-polished delivery system.

In a clear night sky above the shores of Odesa, the faint glow from missiles streaks over the Black Sea. For much of the war, it was one-way traffic, with Russia using the occupied Crimean Peninsula first as a launchpad for its full-scale invasion and then as a staging ground for routine aerial bombardments. Ukraine, now armed with American-made precision missiles, is for the first time capable of reaching every corner of Crimea — and the missiles are increasingly flying in both directions. It is a new strategic push as Kyiv seeks to raise the cost for Russian occupation forces that have long used the peninsula as a base of operations just off Ukraine’s southern coast.

Experts told Business Insider the Ukraine war has underscored how some elements of modern air combat are radically changing. And in fights like Desert Storm and the Iraq War, the West established air superiority by taking out its opponent's air defenses.
