Shares of Nordea Bank , the Finnish lender, have been labeled "too cheap to ignore" by investment bank Berenberg. Net interest income – earned through the differences in rates offered to savers and borrowers — grew 7% year-on-year to 3.86 billion euros. "Trading on only 7.5x our [financial year] 2025 earnings — an 8% premium to the sector — we think Nordea is too cheap to ignore. However, the Berenberg analyst believes that Nordea's net interest income is relatively resilient, noting that "the market still underappreciates Nordea's [net interest income] stability, in our view, which contrasts favourably to that of more rate-sensitive Nordic peers." The analyst also said that recent challenges, including a slight miss on second-quarter net interest income expectations or a modest cost increase, should not deter investors.

The artificial intelligence startup and Menlo Ventures are launching a $100 million fund on Wednesday to back early-stage startups, and get them using the AI company's technology. It initially started with $100 million in 2008, and doubled to $200 million two years later. Venture capitalists are now looking for ways to sweeten their offers to court AI startups, as investors swarm to the hottest deals. Funding for AI startups more than doubled in the second quarter from the first, topping $24 billion, according to data from Crunchbase. OpenAI has its own venture fund, the OpenAI Startup Fund, which its website says is "investing $175 million to help AI companies have a profound, positive impact on the world."

In a clear night sky above the shores of Odesa, the faint glow from missiles streaks over the Black Sea. For much of the war, it was one-way traffic, with Russia using the occupied Crimean Peninsula first as a launchpad for its full-scale invasion and then as a staging ground for routine aerial bombardments. Ukraine, now armed with American-made precision missiles, is for the first time capable of reaching every corner of Crimea — and the missiles are increasingly flying in both directions.
