A smartphone with a displayed Intel logo is placed on a computer motherboard in this illustration taken March 6, 2023. The chipmaker was set to increase its market value by more than $10 billion, if gains hold. Bernstein analyst Stacy Rasgon said Intel's "AI story still seems marginal" and the "datacenter performance continues to suffer from significant headwinds". The company is under heavy pressure in the data center chip market from Nvidia, whose graphic processing units are used for training artificial intelligence models. Sales at Intel's data center business, which also houses its AI chip division, dropped 10%.

Physical representations of the bitcoin cryptocurrency are seen in this illustration taken October 24, 2023. REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/Illustration Acquire Licensing RightsOct 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has eight to 10 filings of possible exchange-traded products for bitcoin in front of it for consideration, SEC Chair Gary Gensler said Thursday. Bitcoin has rallied this week on speculation that SEC approval is imminent for a spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) - seen as a driver of demand because it would allow investors to obtain direct exposure to the cryptocurrency via an exchange-listed product. To date, the SEC has approved only ETFs tied to bitcoin futures contracts. Anticipation around spot ETFs has been rising after the SEC opted not to appeal a court ruling it had been wrong to reject an application from Grayscale Investments to convert its existing bitcoin trust into a spot bitcoin ETF.

Revenue for the media giant’s third quarter rose 0.9% to $30.12 billion, beating analysts’ estimates of $29.68 billion, according to LSEG data. Paid subscribers increased by 4 million in the third quarter, to 28 million, from the 24 million reported in the previous quarter. The ICO said in its response to Farage's complaint about the incident, seen by Reuters, that in its view Rose shared "misleading information" and that Farage's rights were infringed as a result. Farage welcomed the response and said NatWest should cut Rose's notice pay and bonuses.
