CNN —The US-based PGA Tour is set to partner with the Saudi-backed breakaway LIV Golf, ending a feud that has dogged the men’s professional game for the past year. A spokesperson for the PGA Tour told CNN that the new relationship between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf is not a merger, but “a partnership/creation of a new commercial entity.”The LIV Golf series, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), officially launched in June 2022, with participating players subsequently barred from competing in PGA Tour events. “After two years of disruption and distraction, this is a historic day for the game we all know and love,” said PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan. The PGA Tour has agreed to merge with Saudi-backed rival LIV Golf in a deal that would see the competitors squash pending litigation and move forward as a larger golf enterprise. With LIV Golf in the midst of its second, groundbreaking season, the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour and PIF will work together to best feature and grow team golf going forward. PIF will initially be the exclusive investor in the new entity, alongside the PGA TOUR, LIV Golf and the DP World Tour. VidCon, an annual convention for YouTubers and other internet creators founded by John and Hank Green, announced that Hank Green would no longer be able to attend due to the diagnosis. What is Hodgkin lymphoma? The American Cancer Society estimates there will likely be around 8,830 new cases of Hodgkin lymphoma in 2023. Boston-based Tomorrow.io began as a software company that offered hyper-precise, street-level weather forecasting. The company recently launched Tomorrow-R1, what it claims is the world's first commercially built weather-radar satellite, via SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. Tomorrow.io used proprietary software not just to predict but also to help companies plan for severe weather. The new radar satellite, however, will offer a much broader scope of data. Elkabetz said the company intends to launch more than two dozen of its own satellites over the next two years.

Experiencing negative changes in workplace leadership and fairness was associated with the strongest long-term impact on a worker's sleep. Within a two-year period of time, over half of the participants (53%) reported changes in their workplace environment. However, if the changes at work were negative, sleep issues increased — in fact 1 in 4 people in the study with a worse job environment developed problems getting enough rest. Having negative changes in the leadership and fairness sector was associated with the greatest long-term impact on sleep, more than negative changes in coworker relationships or collaboration, the study found.
