Microsoft 's hacking disclosure could be a challenge for its $20 billion-a-year cybersecurity franchise but bullish news for fellow portfolio name and rival Palo Alto Networks. Microsoft stock was trading modestly lower Monday but has climbed more than 5% since the start of 2024 following last year's 56% gains. Microsoft's cybersecurity incident doesn't leave us any less bullish on the mega-cap name. While its cybersecurity business pulls in about $20 billion in annual sales, Microsoft's revenue jumped 7% in 2023 to nearly $212 billion. The Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) new disclosure rules around cybersecurity attacks could be another catalyst for Palo Alto, Jim added.

Here are the most interesting tiny cars I saw on a recent trip to Japan, along with my top pick. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and other locations were awash with tiny "kei" trucks, cars and vans. Kei cars are also lighter, so even though most are still gas-powered, they are efficient. For passengers, these small vehicles may not perform as well as big vehicles in crashes. There are also what many investors would think of as tech companies in S & P 500 Communication Services , at an 8.6% weighting. After all, we would say Meta, Alphabet and Amazon are as much tech companies as Apple or Microsoft, with all three considered leaders in artificial intelligence. These are industrial technology companies, not the industrial companies of old. So, using some of the examples provided in the question: Yes, Microsoft and Apple are both considered Information Technology companies.

We're increasing our price target on Broadcom to $1,200 a share, up from $1,000 to reflect the strong quarter it reported last week. We are increasing our price target on Costco Wholesale to $680 a share, up from $630. We are increasing our price target on Palo Alto Networks to $320 a share, up from $300. From 2007 through 2021, suicide rates for Americans ages 10 to 24 rose 62%, according to the CDC. Young people don't think they can make 'a significant difference'Financial instability has proven to be a large contributing factor in youth suicide. In 2014 and 2015, suicide rates at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology surpassed the national average, which was about 13 deaths per year, according to CDC data. Easier access to guns is linked to increased suicide rates, as well, as gun suicides reached an all-time high in 2022, according to CDC data.
