The IRA includes a clause that automatically qualifies EV battery materials recycled in the U.S. as American-made for subsidies, regardless of their origin. That is important because it qualifies automakers using U.S.-recycled battery materials for EV production incentives. China handles virtually all EV battery recycling in a global market projected to grow from $11 billion in 2022 to $18 billion by 2028, according to research firm EMR. Epidemiologic research suggests that the ideal body mass index (BMI) might be higher for older adults than younger adults. The study’s conclusion: “The WHO healthy weight range may not be suitable for older adults.” Instead, being overweight may be beneficial for older adults, while being notably thin can be problematic, contributing to the potential for frailty. Indeed, an optimal BMI for older adults may be in the range of 24 to 29, Carl Lavie, a well-known obesity researcher, suggested in a separate study reviewing the evidence surrounding obesity in older adults.

I first got to know his music, and first sang his music, as a teenager at school in Scotland. His music is known among the singing community, the choral community, but maybe beyond that he’s not as well known as he should be. Classical music audiences tend to forget about the pre-Baroque, and it’s a pity because William Byrd is one of music history’s great figures. Another wonderful motet by Byrd is “Justorum animae,” which is basically a commemoration or a celebration of martyrs. I think Byrd and Tallis knew people who were arrested, and I think there were some composers for one reason or another during this time arrested.

I would love more than anything else to fool myself into believing that the United States has realized its ideals of justice and equality for all. Yet, the contrary is painfully evident when one of the greatest setbacks the L.G.B.T.Q.+ community has encountered recently occurs during Pride Month. Here’s the thing: My partner and I and our supportive family would never buy a cake or a website from any business that discriminates.

So they began casually looking at houses outside the city, just to get a feel for the market. Once they visited an oceanfront house in Marblehead, Mass., however, things began moving quickly. “We weren’t really looking. We were supposed to be educating ourselves,” said David, 45, who previously worked for tech start-ups but is now focused on raising their children.
