MUNICH, Germany, Aug 12 (Reuters) - England captain Harry Kane has joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur on a four-year deal, the German club said on Saturday. They did not disclose the transfer fee, which media reports have put at around 100 million euros ($109 million). That would be a Bundesliga record, smashing the 80 million euros paid by Bayern to sign Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid in 2019. "The fans can look forward to Harry Kane and the new season," said club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen. Bayern kick off their Bundesliga season against Werder Bremen next week.

BERLIN, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has agreed to move to German champions Bayern Munich after the two clubs reached a preliminary deal for his transfer, Germany's Bild newspaper said on Friday. The English club and Bayern had reportedly agreed on the move on Thursday but needed the consent of Kane, who has another year on his contract at Tottenham. Kane joined Tottenham's academy aged 11 before making his senior debut in 2011. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel will hold a press conference later on Friday ahead of Saturday's season start with the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga starts next week with Bayern facing Werder Bremen on Aug. 18.

The new shares to be issued would account for no more than 10% of enlarged capital, Midea, already listed in the Shenzhen stock exchange, said in a filing. Midea's market capitalisation was $56.47 billion before the listing plan was made public, meaning a deal of up to 10% would be one of the largest listings in Hong Kong since 2021. BERLIN, Aug 10 (Reuters) - German champions Bayern Munich on Thursday reportedly reached a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of England captain Harry Kane, according to several English and German media. Bayern, who did not comment on the reports, have been trying to sign the striker for months with any deal worth around an estimated 100 million euros ($110.19 million). German media said the clubs were preparing the contracts but the player still had to pass a medical in Munich. The Athletic website reported it was now up to Kane, who has one more year on his Tottenham deal, to accept the German club's offer. Bayern kick off their season on Saturday with the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig.

HONG KONG, July 31 (Reuters) - Hong Kong's stock exchange will no longer require companies to spell out China-related business risks in listing applications from Tuesday, in a move that aligns the city more closely with disclosure changes ordered by Beijing. China's securities watchdog published updated rules for offshore listings in February and Hong Kong followed with its own consultation on proposed changes a week later. Geithner, who was U.S. Treasury Secretary in the Obama administration and had headed the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will become the chair of the New York-based investment firm. "Now is the ideal time to put in place a plan for the next generation of leadership at the firm," Warburg CEO Chip Kaye said. HONG KONG, July 5 (Reuters) - Beijing Fourth Paradigm Technology, an AI startup, has completed procedural work for a Hong Kong initial public offering, becoming only one of a handful of companies to get the nod from China's securities regulator since new rules became effective this year. The company has successfully completed the offshore listing filing process，according a July 3 filing on the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website. Fourth Paradigm and one other company got the CSRC greenlight on July 3, adding to two other firms this year. Fourth Paradigm, also known as 4Paradigm, filed its fourth IPO application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in April. Fourth Paradigm counts Goldman Sachs (GS.N), Sinovation, Haitong International Investment and a number of state-backed funds as investors, the CSRC filing showed.

Didi was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) a year later amid Beijing's crackdown on Chinese technology giants over antitrust and data security rules. Shein officials in Singapore, where the company is headquartered, declined to comment on any IPO plans or on discussions with the investment banks and exchanges. Last week, Reuters reported that Shein had filed its IPO registration confidentially with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Shein was valued at more than $60 billion in a $2 billion private fundraising round in March.
