The General Administration of Sport of China and the foreign and public security ministries did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In her first public comments since being stripped of a bronze medal she appeared to have rightfully won, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles on Wednesday said she’s still seeking “justice” and “peace." Chiles, speaking at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit, said the situation regarding the disputed medal has taken a severe emotional toll. “At this rate, it’s not really about the medal, it’s about my peace and my justice,” the 23-year-old said at the conference. Once that scoring error was corrected, Chiles vaulted into third place and the bronze medal. "No matter what, I'm always going to have those accolades with me and I'm going to continue to shine bright in the ways that I'm going to shine bright, because the star is never going to get dimmed."

Gotfredson noted that fans of women's sports are "fanning differently" and are more engaged "from a brand partner perspective" than those who follow men's sports and male athletes. "It's still a small percentage of brands spending in women's sports," she said. GM declined to discuss details of the spending, including how much of that amount is specifically tied to NFL advertising, but reiterated it remains significantly lower than historic levels. “The impact of the NFL on the automotive advertising industry is really very, very substantial,” said Alberto Leyes, head of product strategy at Guideline. Guideline reports viewership of NFL broadcasts grew about 7% over the past season, whereas ad spend in NFL programming doubled that pace at 14%. Automotive ad spend increased 17% over the past two seasons and is expected to increase again this year, according to Leyes. Stellantis is expected to soon launch new ads for the NFL season, including around its Jeep brand, but a spokeswoman declined to provide additional details.

I’m embarrassed.”On Monday, the South Florida Police Benevolent Association defended the actions of the officers involved, highlighting that Hill was never placed under arrest.
