From Bella Hadid/InstagramShe added that she was “okay,” “finally healthy” and “wouldn’t change anything for the world…it made who I am today.”Hadid has said previously that she has Lyme disease, a tick-borne disease that can commonly cause symptoms of fever, chills, body aches, swollen lymph nodes, neck stiffness, shortness of breath, headache, fatigue and a rash. The tribute to the singer, who died last month at age 56, features white letters, reading “ÉIRE SINÉAD,” with a heart emoji between the two words. The tribute, unveiled Sunday, was conceived by Dublin-based creative agency The Tenth Man, in conjunction with signwriting and mural specialists Mack Signs. It is located directly above a World War II “ÉIRE” navigational landmark that was rediscovered in 2018 after a wildfire. O’Connor “loved living in Bray and the people in it,” the statement added.

Women’s World Cup 2023: Live scores, fixtures, results, tables and top scorersCNN —Jamaica earned a historic first-ever Women’s World Cup win on Saturday, defeating Panama 1-0 following a goal from captain Allyson Swaby. It was a scoreless opening half, one where the history at stake for both teams – Panama was seeking a first World Cup win too – was palpable as Jamaica fired shot after shot over the crossbar and Panama seemed content to play out from the back. Jamaica secured its first Women's World Cup victory. Meanwhile, Panama fought to keep a foothold in the game, occasionally challenging Jamaica’s backline as its own defense scrambled well to keep the Reggae Girlz at bay. But it seemed a matter of time until Jamaica found the back of the net, and Swaby eventually put her team ahead, sparking jubilant celebrations on the field.

CNN —Following the announcement of Sinéad O’Connor’s death aged 56 Wednesday, her life and music with all their complexities and convulsions have been put back into the spotlight. At first, the act drew widespread condemnation, but in subsequent years this eventually gave way to admiration as the Catholic Church acknowledged and apologized for the sexual abuse perpetrated by members of the clergy, often toward children. Ripping up that photo of the pope defined her career in a “beautiful f**king way,” she told the Guardian in 2021. Joe Pesci hosted the show the following week and in his opening monologue said that O’Connor “was very lucky it wasn’t my show. CNN —When you think of Apple, it’s likely that what first springs to mind is a conveyer belt of revolutionary tech rather than a pair of sneakers. But a pair of “ultra-rare” Apple sneakers is now being sold by auctioneers Sotheby’s for $50,000, fetching a higher price tag than any current Apple product. Complete with the rainbow Apple logo on the tongue and side, the white trainers were custom-made for the company’s employees as a one-time giveaway at a National Sales Conference in the mid-1990s. Although producing sneakers is unusual for Apple, in 1986 the tech brand released a range of clothing and accessories dubbed “The Apple Collection,” featuring mugs, umbrellas, bags, keyrings and even a sailboard, all emblazoned with the rainbow Apple logo, according to a catalog published that year. This pair of sneakers is not the first vintage Apple product to have sold for an eyewatering sum in recent months.
