Sweden's Maritime Authority issued a warning about two leaks in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, shortly after a leak on the nearby Nord Stream 2 pipeline was discovered that had prompted Denmark to restrict shipping in a five nautical mile radius. Nord Stream 2, which runs almost in parallel to Nord Stream 1, was built in September 2021 but was never launched as Germany refused to certify it.

A Russian lawmaker threatened Britain and Germany with nuclear strikes on state TV. The host suggested that Russia should have hit the Queen's funeral, taking out many heads of state. "60 Minutes" is a vehicle for pro-Russian propaganda and frequently airs misleading and false information about the war in Ukraine. He explained that plastic litter was so common in grazing areas that it became an unwelcome part of the cows’ regular diet. In 2018, 107,000 metric tons of plastic waste from South Africa ended up in the marine environment. With plastic waste growing around the world, Buthelezi is using his work to both highlight and combat the issue. Buthelezi uses plastic litter to create artworks depicting life in South Africa.
