My boyfriend and I had been dating for three months at the time when he initially suggested the idea: Why don't we get married? We bought rings within our budget, applied for a marriage license, and were married in a courthouse after six months of dating. Biden became the first Democrat to win Georgia since 1992, when he defeated Trump by less than 12,000 votes. A Washington Post/ABC News/Ipsos poll released this week found 47% of Black voters said Biden should continue his campaign, compared to 49% who said he should cede the nomination to someone else. A recent Pew Research Center survey found that among Biden supporters, 58% of Black supporters said both Biden and Trump ought to be replaced, compared with 84% of Asian supporters, 74% of White supporters and 67% of Hispanic supporters. Support among Black voters has long been the make or break point for Democratic politicians. In 2008, Black voters helped Barack Obama win the Democratic nomination and their high voter turnout helped him carry states like Ohio and North Carolina.

I thought about what I had learned about gentle parentingThe voices of gentle parenting experts — more accurately, the Instagram posts by certain accounts such as Big Little Feelings and Responsive Parenting — ran on loops in my mind. As we waded deeper into toddlerhood, it became clear that gentle parenting — on top of being impractical — was sucking all of the joy out of parenthood. AdvertisementI gave up on gentle parentingI officially gave up on gentle parenting when my second daughter was born, leaving me with two kids under two. Lamont WiltseeCarmel Valley, Calif. To the Editor:James Carville makes one structural mistake in his piece calling for four town halls around the country. President Biden should be invited to be one of the participants and compete on an even footing with the other candidates. Within less than a week, my forehead was completely smooth, and I got more compliments on how amazing my skin looked. My forehead would stay smooth shortly after I'd remove them, but revert back a little later in the day. I also had to be consistent: it took about a week of wearing them every night for my forehead to smooth out. Face-taping gives me more of a natural lookWhile Botox had stronger effects than face-taping, I didn't necessarily love it. I never had anything against forehead lines or visible signs of aging.

It included a conversation featuring Jimmy Kimmel, President Biden and former President Barack Obama. Mr. Biden had just returned from the G7 conference, and I brushed off the obvious deterioration as travel-related. Mr. Biden spoke slowly and softly, with a noticeable slurring of words. Mr. Obama seemed to treat him more like an elderly man than an active candidate.

As for the actions of Nunez, Gimenez and others, Alonso maintained what they did was only to be expected in the circumstances. Some Colombia and Uruguay players embraced one another while others — Uruguay’s Luis Suarez and Colombia’s Miguel Borja among them — became involved in an altercation. Moments later, though, some of the Uruguay players started to sprint towards the touchline, in an area just to the right of their dugout. Prior to that, it had threatened to turn into a free-for-all as other Uruguay players and staff got involved, clambering over seats.

Giuliani’s bankruptcy attorneys and his spokesman didn’t provide additional comment to CNN for this story. They want the bankruptcy judge on Wednesday to throw him out of bankruptcy court. For instance, in recent weeks, according to his financial records available in court, Giuliani made 40 purchases from Amazon totaling nearly $3,500. “Unfortunately, in this case, good news always seems to be accompanied with bad,” lawyers for his creditors wrote to the bankruptcy judge last month. “We saw the same thing and have requested information, and a cup of coffee,” Giuliani’s own bankruptcy lawyers told the creditors.

CNN —Dutch golfer Joost Luiten will not be competing in this month’s Olympic Games after the International Olympic Committee ruled it would not expand the field to include him, despite qualifying and winning a court case that seemed set to send him to Paris. Luiten announced last month that the Dutch Olympic Committee would not allow him to take a place on the country’s team that is competing in the golf competition, despite the fact that he met the International Golf Federation’s criteria for entry. The International Golf Federation said in a statement that the spot Luiten had earned had been given to another player because of the Dutch Olympic Committee’s original decision to exclude him from competing. According to the International Golf Federation, Luiten had finished 40th in the final men’s Olympic Golf Ranking.
