On Wednesday evening, there were two multi-rocket attacks on US and coalition forces at Omar Oil Fields near Mission Support Site Green Village, Syria, and a one-way drone attack on forces at Mission Support Site Euphrates, Syria. One of the rocket attacks on Green Village resulted in three US troops suffering minor injuries, the official said. The fourth attack came on Thursday morning, when a one-way drone attack targeted forces at Al-Asad Airbase, Iraq. Before the US’ strike on an IRGC weapons facility on Wednesday, there were two attacks — multiple one-way drones targeting forces at Bashur, Iraq, and a previously reported rocket attack on forces at Shaddadi, Syria. (Nasser Nasser/Associated Press)The number of journalists killed while reporting on the war between Israel and Hamas has exceeded the highest monthly death toll previously recorded among those covering conflict, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. Some 39 reporters, photographers and videographers and other media workers, have died during the latest outbreak of violence between Israel and the Palestinian militant group—the vast majority of whom were killed by airstrikes in Gaza. The number is more than half the death toll for those killed in conflicts worldwide last year, according to CPJ.

Out of the nine clips in the social media video, Reuters found eight in the AMC compilation. The first clip (0:00-0:03) in the social media video can be seen from 0:49-1:01 seconds of the AMC montage. The video dates to 2016, when it was shared after a hospital was bombed in Aleppo, Syria.

The House passed a GOP-led resolution on Tuesday to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib over comments critical of Israel and in support of Palestinians amid Israel’s war against Hamas. The vote was 234 to 188 with four Republicans voting against and 22 Democrats voting in support of the censure resolution. Both censure resolutions reference the chant. On Tuesday, a Reuters reporter saw a trail of men crossing from Darfur into Chad at Adre, about 27 km (17 miles) west of El Geneina. More than 500,000 people have crossed into Chad, mostly from West Darfur, the IOM says. Chad border guards said the daily number of those fleeing from West Darfur had surged to 3,146 on Saturday. U.N. officials in Chad said thousands more were expected to cross but had been prevented from doing so by RSF forces demanding money. Toby Hayward, a senior U.N. official for Darfur, described reports and images emerging from Ardamata as "sickening".

The House voted on Tuesday to censure Representative Rashida Tlaib, Democrat of Michigan, formally rebuking the sole Palestinian American in Congress for her statements regarding the Israel-Hamas war. Four Republicans voted against censuring Ms. Tlaib, while one Democrat and three Republicans voted “present,” declining to take a position. After the gavel fell, Democratic lawmakers, mostly progressives, surrounded Ms. Tlaib on the floor and embraced her. Ms. Tlaib has been by far the most vocal member of Congress to do so. The debate pitted mainstream Democrats against the most progressive lawmakers in the House, many of them women of color who surrounded Ms. Tlaib on the floor as the censure was considered.
