While Wilson's base case sees the S & P 500 rising to 6,500, his most optmistic bullish scenario takes the benchmark all the way to 7,400 — 26% above Friday's close. However, his initial 2024 S & P 500 target proved too conservative at 4,500.

On Facebook, there were three times as many explicitly conservative news influencers (39% to 13%), and on Instagram conservatives outnumbered liberals, 30-25%. “Many Republicans have long believed that social media sites censor conservative viewpoints. Social media influencers differ from trained journalists in how they report facts, often weaving their own views into current events or presenting opinions as reportable facts. The gender gap was found across most social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, X, and Instagram, where men outnumbered women two to one.

CNN —An unexplained fault in an undersea telecommunications cable linking Finland and Germany has disrupted communication services, the company that runs the link said Monday. The C-Lion1 cable that connects Helsinki to Rostock in Germany was built and is operated by Cinia, a state-controlled Finnish company. It is unclear what caused the fault – Cinia said in a statement that it is still investigating the issue. However, the malfunction comes just weeks after the United States warned that it had detected increased Russian military activity around key undersea cables. Las Vegas police are investigating after an officer fatally shot a 43-year-old father who had called 911 for help during a home break-in. Durham reported that he was inside the house with his 15-year-old daughter and he was going to lock himself in a bathroom, Koren told reporters Thursday. WBD filed the lawsuit against the NBA in July after the league signed new broadcast rights deals with Disney, Amazon and NBC collectively worth $76 billion. WBD will also receive the rights to broadcast live NBA games in northern Europe and Latin America for the next 11 years, the person said. WBD is also expected to announce it has signed a multi-year licensing deal with Disney, the person familiar with the matter said. Under the agreement, “Inside the NBA” will air exclusively on ESPN and ABC starting next season. WBD also plans to develop a sports spin-off of the “Inside the NBA” program, they said.
