And in an age of swing-for-the-fences baseball, Soto struck out just 16.7% of the time, while the league whiffed at a 22.2% clip this season. Free agency is “going to be exciting,” Soto told reporters moments after the Yankees lost Game 5 of the World Series, ending the baseball season. Nearly three decades ago, Tomas Gorny came to the U.S. as a Polish immigrant living on $3 a day, after rent and transportation costs. Today, the 49-year-old Gorny is the founder of multiple tech businesses, including a cloud-based business communications company called Nextiva that was most recently valued at $2.7 billion. Gorny, the company's CEO, has a net worth exceeding $1 billion, according to a Nextiva spokesperson. After rent and transportation costs, he had only a few dollars per day for food and other necessities, he says. Two years later, his $3 per day turned into a net worth above $1 million, he says.

On Holding's momentum shows no signs of slowing, according to investment firm BTIG. Analyst Janine Stichter upgraded the running shoemaker to buy from neutral and set her price target at $64, which implies 21.6% upside from Tuesday's close. "Wholesale sell-through remains strong, and our checks at run specialty suggest continued share gains, which we see ultimately flowing back to [direct-to-consumer]." Stichter's call joins 18 other strong buy or buy ratings among analysts on the Street covering the name, while the remaining four have taken a neutral stance, per LSEG. Its average target of $52.93 also reflects marginal upside ahead.
