According to Goldman's chief economist, Jan Hatzius, some 25% of all US workers work from home at least part of the week. So, which Wall Street firms are still letting employees work from home at least part of the time? On days employees are in, the firm focuses on taking "advantage of our shared location," it reads. At that time, the firm called for its employees to come into the office a minimum of three days a week. Since then, most employees have been in the office throughout the week, according to a person familiar with the firm.

That is likely why Salesforce stock traded at a valuation "well below" its peers, Smith argued at the time. For context, here's the full list of Salesforce peers included Starboard's presentation: Club holding Microsoft 's (MSFT) productivity and business processes segment, Adobe, Club holding Oracle (ORCL), Intuit (INTU), ServiceNow, Workday and SAP (SAP). CNN —Jimmy Kimmel was ready to throw in the towel as the host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” but it seems the host has had a change of heart. “I was very intent on retiring right around the time where the strike started,” Kimmel said Wednesday on the debut episode of his new Spotify podcast “Strike Force Five,” which he hosts with fellow network TV late-night show personalities Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert. “Now I realize, oh yeah, it’s kind of nice to work,” Kimmel added. In 2022, ABC announced that Kimmel signed a three-year contract extension to stay on as host and executive producer of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” so regardless of his itch to retire, he’s under contract until 2025. “DNA has been really extremely helpful for us, with the Rapid DNA,” said Alison Galloway, professor emerita of anthropology at the University of California-Santa Cruz, who helped identify remains during the Camp Fire. “If you don’t have that … then it’s a lot more difficult.”In general, forensic experts rely on DNA, dental analysis, fingerprints, medical hardware or circumstantial evidence to try to identify remains. “We’re still diligently working trying to make sure that we can identify (remains), and that’s why that DNA is so important, because we got fingerprints from three,” he said. Galloway, the forensics professor, said one of the advantages of the Rapid DNA technology is in quickly determining whether a DNA swab is usable.
