A Ukrainian military video showed a soldier shooting down a Russian SU-25 jet. Su-25s are used to provide air support to Russian troops on the ground. "Today soldiers from the anti-aircraft missile division of the Edelweiss 10th Mountain Assault Brigade deployed an Igla anti-aircraft missile system to shoot down a Russian Su-25 [jet]," the unit said in a post, reported Ukrainska Pravda. The Su-25 is a Soviet era jet, designed to fly low and provide support to Russian troops on the ground. But this makes them vulnerable to strikes from anti-aircraft missiles fired by ground troops using shoulder-held launchers, reported The Economist.

If the judges rule the plan is lawful, a government official said the flights could begin later this year if the courts reject any applications for further legal challenges. Dawson was found guilty last year of murdering his first wife Lynette in a conviction that ended one of Australia’s longest-running cold cases. Judge Huggett sided with AB, finding that Dawson had groomed the teenager while she was still his pupil. Judge Huggett said she accepted the evidence that Dawson had proposed to AB at least once in 1980, when AB was 16. The 397 participants included light drinkers, heavy social drinkers and those who had alcohol abuse disorder. “In their daily lives, this group averaged 38.7 drinks a week, compared to 2.5 drinks a week for light drinkers and about 20 drinks for heavy drinkers,” King said. Some tolerance was seenAt first, the study supported the notion that heavy drinkers can manage larger doses without impairment. THE HAGUE, June 14 (Reuters) - A lawyer for Russia on Wednesday dismissed Ukraine's account of the downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 in World Court hearings earlier this week as "fiction". Ukraine repeated the Dutch court findings in its case before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), but Russia's lawyer Michael Swainston dismissed it as "fiction". "This did not happen, no BUK Telar came from Russia," he told the court on the final day of hearings. In its final submissions on Monday, Ukraine asked the ICJ to find Moscow guilty of breaching its treaty obligations and order it to pay reparations. It has asked the court to throw out Ukraine's claim which stems from 2017 and was filed well before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Last week, in hearings before the International Court of Justice, also known as the World Court, Russia said Ukraine's MH17 case was based on "nonsense" and offered a host of alternative explanations for what happened. Kyiv has asked the court to find Moscow guilty of breaching its treaty obligations and order it to pay reparations. The World Court case stems from 2017 and was filed well before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The International Court of Justice is expected to rule on the case before the end of this year.
