From its launch in 2015 until the Merge, Ethereum's greenhouse gas emissions totalled 27.5 million tonnes carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO2e), the study showed. Its current yearly emissions are around 2.8 kilotonnes carbon dioxide equivalent, the study found - around the same as five round-trip flights from London to New York. Millennials are relocating to new cities in droves, with 25% of the generation moving to a different metropolitan area in 2022 alone. Cambridge, Massachusetts, had the highest rate of millennials moving in, with members of the generation making up nearly 38% of the total population. That's all according to a recent SmartAsset study, which used data for 268 cities pulled from the Census Bureau's 1-year American Community Survey for 2022 to determine where people ages 25 to 44 had migrated. The study then ranked the cities based on the rate at which millennials moved in as a percentage of the total population. These are the top 10 cities where millennials are moving the most, according to SmartAsset.

OpenAI's board of directors fired Sam Altman, the man behind ChatGPT, in a shock move on Friday. OpenAI's board announced Friday that Altman is out saying it "no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI." The board consisted of six people including OpenAI's president and cofounder Greg Brockman, OpenAI's chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, Adam D'Angelo, Tasha McCauley, Helen Toner and Sam Altman himself. He pointed out that even CEOs are "at-will employees," at US companies, but that OpenAI's board "behaved like a bunch of kids" and "erratically" in this instance. Most of OpenAI's board members don't own shares in the company, including Sam Altman himself who chose not to take any equity in, which ultimately limited his power and influence.

Byatt, has died aged 87, her publisher said in a statement on Friday. Byatt, whose career spanned nearly 60 years, was best known for her 1990 novel "Possession: A Romance". Seven years later came her breakthrough with Possession, which became a bestseller and won the coveted Booker Prize for Fiction the same year. Byatt won a number of awards and titles including a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) and DBE (Dame of the British Empire).
