Russian missile and drone strikes are becoming more intense, a new study found. These attacks comprised 36 different models of missiles and drones, including Iskander ballistic missiles, Kh-59 cruise missiles and Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones. Related storiesNonetheless, there is a wide variation in the intensity of Russian strikes that seems to shift according to Moscow's priorities. "There were 17 days during the study period when missile launches exceeded 82 missiles in a single day," CSIS said. Incumbent governments have been punished in Britain, France, India, Japan, South Korea, and elsewhere. The near-universal shift away from Democrats echoes voters' rejection of incumbent political parties across the world this year. South Africa's African National Congress (ANC) party lost its majority. Similarly, Deutsche Bank's Reid wrote that voters are disappointed by how slowly their lives are improving amid cooler economic growth. He said they don't buy that incumbents can tackle immigration, some incumbent governments have had scandals, and voters have become "much more willing to change their vote from election to election."

Prosecutors drew attention to the .40-caliber unspent round found by the girls’ bodies, which a prosecution expert testified matched Allen’s pistol. "Arcane," a television adaptation of Riot Games' "League of Legends," is back on Netflix. The gig was at Riot Games, a young video game company founded in 2006 that had launched its debut title "League of Legends" the year before. Film and television isn't Riot Games' primary business; video games like "League of Legends" are. A genuinely good television series like "Arcane" not only engages current players who may spend money on in-game cosmetics, but brings new eyes to the franchise. The real-life cosmetics, like the "Arcane" season two drop with Fenty Beauty, probably don't hurt either.

As president, Trump repeatedly came under fire from ethics groups for potential conflicts of interest relating to his businesses and brands. A source familiar with the process acknowledged that details are still being worked out with the Biden administration regarding the ethics agreement, which is required by law under the Presidential Transition Act and which applies to all members of the transition team. Updates to that bill requiring the ethics pledge were introduced by Trump ally Sen. Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, and signed into law by Trump himself in March 2020. The Trump team ignored a pair of key preelection deadlines to unlock transition activities with the Biden administration’s General Services Administration and the White House.
