Expect a “noisy” jobs report Friday that will be heavily affected by storms and a labor strike, economists say. A Montana man found slain in his tent earlier this month welcomed his alleged killer, a stranger, to his campsite and offered him a beer, the Gallatin County sheriff said Thursday. Investors have been accumulating shares of several big-name companies, from GE Vernova to United Airlines , during the market's recent dip. But those and other overbought stocks could be due for a pullback, according to one popular yardstick. Strong earnings from tech giants Amazon and Intel late Thursday were partly responsible for equity gains on Friday, as investors still look to megacap tech stocks for leadership. CNBC Pro screened for stocks that are considered technically overbought on the basis of their 14-day relative strength index, or RSI. Companies with a 14-day RSI above 70 are often regarded as overbought, signaling a pullback may be ahead, while a 14-day RSI below 30 often suggests a stock is oversold and could see future upside.

All three titles are expected to thrive at the box office, both during their openings and as they run through the rest of the year. The physical screens are often bigger than traditional movie screens or have auditoriums that feature higher-quality sound systems or seating options. These screens account for 9.1% of the domestic box office, around $600 million in 2024. PLF receipts still represent a small portion of the overall box office, with most audiences seeing films on traditional digital screens. However, it's no small feat that PLF box office has grown 33% in just five years.
