Faced with a $4,000 dental bill recently, I opened a 0% intro APR credit card to cover the expense. I chose the Chase Freedom Unlimited® for its generous 0% APR on purchases intro offer, welcome bonus, and rewards. These 0% intro APR cards do have some pitfalls though. How I earned $390 in credit card rewards on my dental billsI ended up going with the Chase Freedom Unlimited® card. Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards are considered some of the best around, and fortunately, there are three different business credit cards under this umbrella — the Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card and the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. However, if your business doesn’t come close to spending an average of $5,000 per month, you’ll instead want to consider either the Ink Business Unlimited or Ink Business Cash cards. Earning points versus cash backYou’re probably asking yourself why the Ink Business Preferred card earns points, while the Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited are advertised as cash back cards. Benefits of the Chase Ink credit cardsAll three Ink Business credit cards provide primary car rental insurance when you rent a vehicle for business purposes. There’s also actually one benefit that comes on the Ink Business Unlimited and Ink Business Cash cards, but not the Ink Business Preferred.
Earn IHG points through your elite statusEarning elite status with IHG can lead to even more benefits if you're someone who travels frequently. Redeem IHG points for dream vacationsYou can use your IHG points to stay at some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts in the world, whether you're in search of a romantic getaway, family vacation, solo travel escape, or dream honeymoon. Transfer IHG points to a friendThere's also an option to transfer IHG points to a friend or family member at a cost of $5 per 1,000 points, or buying them through IHG's website. Some of these redemptions are as low as 100 IHG points, so if you haven't had any activity in your account recently, this is a good way to keep your IHG points from expiring. Use IHG points to attend special eventsWhile there don't seem to be any concerts, sports, or special events at the moment due to the pandemic, this was a great way to put IHG points toward unique experiences.
