We know there are so many reasons why this bull market has eluded so many. It's sudden broadening into health care, transports and financials just when we were told the bull was slain by its lack of breadth. I hope readers here know that I felt that only by tuning out the Fed could you make maximum money in the market. You simply had to ignore the verbiage, block out the gasbags who simply failed to see the two-staged bull market right in front of them. Needless to say, if you needed any evidence that we are in a bull market, the rally in that dog may be enough to make the prosecution rest.

The MAC Cosmetics owner said it was working to restore the affected systems and had implemented measures to secure its operations. Kering snaps up fragrance label Creed for new beauty division

PARIS, June 26 (Reuters) - Gucci-owner Kering (PRTP.PA) said on Monday it had struck a deal to buy high-end French fragrance label Creed, its first acquisition since flagging intentions earlier this year to create an in-house cosmetics business. "The acquisition clearly marks a major step for Kering Beaute, allowing it to reach critical mass in this category," said Raffaella Cornaggia, CEO of Kering's beauty division. The former Estee Lauder executive was appointed in February to lead the French group's push into the segment. The all-cash deal to acquire 100% of the high-end fragrance house from funds controlled by BlackRock and by the company's current chairman Javier Ferran is expected to close in the second half this year. The Bridal Industry Is Having a Swimsuit Moment

Marigo Mihalos Sfaelos brought many outfits to her four-day, event-filled wedding in Karpathos, Greece, last year. There was the silk citrine Greek goddess-style dress, a floral appliqué Estee Couture bridal gown, and a disco ball-inspired floor-length dress for the after party. “I wanted it to be a bridal look that stood out, and the bride should stand out,” said Mrs. Mihalos Sfaelos, 35, a senior director of talent relations at SiriusXM radio in New York. “You can’t just wear a white bathing suit.”Other brides seem to feel the same way, especially with destination weddings, and designers and stylists are paying close attention. Today’s bridal swimwear are not just fashion-forward white bathing suits — they are beaded and bedazzled, fancy and frilly, lacy and Lycra-fitted, and custom made.
