Former UCLA basketball player Jalen Hill , who along with two teammates was detained in China in 2017 on suspicion of shoplifting, has died, the university’s basketball team said Wednesday. He was 22 years old. The circumstances of his death couldn’t immediately be determined. His family didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
