PHOENIX — Democratic Rep. In a statement, the Yemassee Police Department cited Alpha Genesis CEO Greg Westergaard for news of the day's discoveries. Over the weekend, Yemassee police said 25 of the escaped monkeys had been captured safely. Last week's escapees were described as very young Rhesus macaque females weighing just 6 to 7 pounds and, as yet, unexposed to research.

A man accused of murder after a 911 call about a fake bear attack in the mountains of Tennessee led authorities to a dead man last month has been found and arrested, police said Sunday. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said it was informed Sunday that Hamlett, who had been sought on a first-degree murder warrant, was found and arrested in South Carolina. “The sharing of Hamlett’s wanted poster led the public, whom is our most valuable resource, to act as our eyes and ears,” Monroe County Sheriff Tommy J. Jones II said in a statement. Hamlett was arrested in South Carolina after a hospital employee recognized him and alerted authorities, Columbia police said. Rome, Italy Reuters —Italian police have uncovered a large-scale pan-European forgery network making and selling fake artworks attributed to some of the biggest names in modern and contemporary art including Banksy, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. That led them to forgeries sold by auction houses across Italy, and to connect them to a known group believed to specialize in forgeries of Banksy and Warhol. To boost their credentials, the unnamed suspects organized two Banksy exhibitions with a published catalog in prestigious locations in Mestre near Venice and Cortona in Tuscany, investigators said.

CNN —Richard Allen has been found guilty of two counts of murder and two counts of felony murder in the highly publicized Delphi murder trial, according to CNN affiliate WTHR. Delphi law enforcement have long held they believe the “Bridge Guy” shown in the video is the main suspect in the case. Prosecutors drew attention to the .40-caliber unspent round found by the girls’ bodies, which a prosecution expert testified matched Allen’s pistol. The prosecution has also tried to match Allen with the video and audio recording of the “Bridge Guy” captured on Libby’s cellphone. “Richard Allen is ‘Bridge Guy,’” McLeland told jurors.

Over the weekend, authorities in Kaifeng and Zhengzhou closed off bike lanes on Zhengkai Avenue, to try to stop cyclists from entering. To prevent students from joining the cycling crowd, some colleges and universities in Zhengzhou even imposed restrictions on leaving campus, according to accounts shared by students on social media. In the spring of 1989, university students in Beijing rode their bikes to Tiananmen Square to join pro-democracy protests that ended in a bloody crackdown by the Chinese military. Their journey quickly went viral, inspiring more Zhengzhou students to follow suit as the hashtag “youth is priceless” trended on social media. Others said local authorities should have been better prepared for the influx of students before they jumped in to promote the trend.
