More than 90 flights from Indian airports have received bomb threats in just over a week, including about 50 on Saturday and Sunday alone, according to local media reports. Bomb threats against airlines are taken especially seriously in India, which was rattled by a series of bombings and hijackings from the 1970s to 1990s. Two days later, the British air force dispatched a fighter jet to intercept an Air India Boeing 777 en route to London. Air India said it would consider legal action against those responsible and was cooperating with the authorities to identify the perpetrators. LAS VEGAS — GOP candidate Sam Brown spent Thursday’s Nevada Senate debate taking shots at Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen, as he still faces a polling deficit with Election Day creeping nearer. In contrast, Rosen spent the evening focusing largely on her own track record and roots in Nevada, hoping to stay above the fray and ride her polling lead. “It’s interesting that Senator Rosen would mention a desire to want to fine greedy corporations,” said Brown. In a quest to find the first complete head, researchers conducted an analysis of Arthropleura fossils belonging to two juvenile individuals uncovered in the 1970s in France. Researchers studied scans of two Arthropleura fossils trapped in stone. Both fossilized insects still had most of their legs, and one of them had a complete head, including antennae, eyes, mandibles and its feeding apparatus — the first Arthropleura head ever documented, Lhéritier said. Researchers believe the two Arthropleura fossils belonged to juveniles because they reach just 0.9 inch (25 millimeters) and 1.5 inches (40 millimeters) long. But other fossils that preserve additional aspects of the arthropod’s body, including the head of an adult, will need to be found.

Set to open in spring 2025, the museum will occupy a 4,223-square-foot space at Crown Center shopping center in Kansas City. There you can sample the namesake burnt ends, once notably described as “burned edges of the brisket.”Burnt ends are a Kansas City specialty.
