Twenty-six people, mostly children, were taken to the hospital after carbon monoxide leaked at a daycare center in Allentown, Pa., Tuesday morning, according to the city’s fire department. John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department said 25 children and eight staff members were evacuated from the Happy Smiles Learning Center. Parents picked up a few of the children and said they would handle their medical care, he said, while the rest of the children and the staff were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.

Tulsa police arrested the daughter of District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler on Tuesday after she allegedly stabbed her father — lead prosecutor in Oklahoma's second biggest county, authorities said. CNN —Coolio, the ’90s rapper who lit up the music charts with hits like “Gangsta’s Paradise” and “Fantastic Voyage,” has died, his friend and manager Jarez Posey, told CNN. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive male and performed “resuscitation efforts for approximately 45 minutes.”The patient “was determined dead just before 5:00 p.m.,” Scott said. Coolio was a friend and one of the warmest, funniest people I’ve ever met. Arguably his biggest song, “Gangsta’s Paradise,” from the soundtrack to the film “Dangerous Minds,” grew his star power to gigantic proportions. “I didn’t use any trendy words…I think it made it timeless.”Over his career, Coolio sold more than 17 million records, according to his website.

Barthel said the Navy’s case relies largely on the account of a fellow sailor who has acknowledged changing it repeatedly. Still, he said he is speaking out because the Navy case is unjust. Navy leaders disciplined more than 20 senior officers and sailors in connection with what it described as widespread leadership failures that contributed to the disaster. During the Vietnam War, US troops were supported by forces from several allied countries. The role of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) and the New Zealand Special Air Service (NZSAS) was especially notable. From 1966 to 1971, these two special-operations units deployed a small number of commandos to support conventional forces in Vietnam. Gradually, however, they shifted to a more aggressive stance and started going after high-value North Vietnamese and Viet Cong targets in ambushes and direct-action operations. Special operators from the two countries had fought with the British against Communist insurgents in Malaya and Borneo.
