Here's how Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and UBS recommend investing in AI. Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and UBS are more optimistic about AI stocks after each expressed hesitations earlier this year as shares of companies tied to the technology exploded higher. In contrast, Morgan Stanley has dismissed concerns that AI stocks are in a bubble. "Inevitably, the market will compare AI to the dot-com boom," wrote Morgan Stanley analyst Shawn Kim in a July report. As for chipmakers, Morgan Stanley agreed with Bank of America that the path forward is bifurcated.

I’ve Listened to This Breakup Song a Million Times

Eventually I ended up in the back of a cab in Bushwick, listening to the song on repeat. The perfect breakup song must also be a sort of theater, where the singer becomes the character fully. The very cadence of the song, her voice, sonically pristine, still spells out a certain longing and despair. It feels as if the song were creating its own black hole when it was made. Who can escape the condensed emotional singularity of a breakup song?

Tech stocks have already had a strong year, but one corner of the sector has more "appealing" opportunities in store for investors, according to Goldman Sachs. Software stocks that Goldman covers have already soared 37% in the year to date, said the bank in a July 21 note. Goldman added that software companies are more "adequately set up to outperform" in the second quarter and for the rest of the year. This sets the stage for a potential return to the more normalized beat-and-raise cadence typically associated with software companies," the bank's analysts said. Six software stocks Goldman said these stocks still offer strong investment opportunities: Adobe , Salesforce , Monday.com , Microsoft , ServiceNow , Workday .

Arguments for calling a halt to the credit tightening were strengthened on Monday as early July business surveys for the euro area came in well below forecasts, showing a deepening contraction in overall activity this month. The euro dropped more than half a percent against the dollar as euro government debt yields fell back, with an indecisive weekend election result in Spain adding pressure. With the ongoing slide in manufacturing still the biggest drag and due in large part to China's spluttering post-Covid recovery, further turbulence in China's property markets will only increase the anxiety. For Wall St, the looming Fed decision dominates this week - with a check on U.S. July business surveys topping the data on Monday's calendar in another huge corporate earnings week. U.S. Treasury yields fell back, but the dollar (.DXY) climbed against the euro, yuan and sterling - also hit by disappointing UK business readings for July.

ChatGPT excelled at predicting a stock's price direction based on news sentiment. They found that while ChatGPT excelled at predicting a stock's direction based on news sentiment, it is not without limitations. They prompted ChatGPT to assign the following scores to headlines: "1" for good news, "0" for unknown and "-1" for bad news. This meant negative news had a greater and longer impact in the real world than in the simulation,, likely giving ChatGPT an advantage, Lopez-Lira noted.

Ms. Kim said she found that in general, American audiences thought the extensive back stories about the contestants slowed the show. Korean audiences liked the back stories because they wanted to know more about the contestants. She was puzzled, because this was fast for Korean audiences — but not fast enough for American sensibilities. In South Korea, the action often does not start until the fourth episode because shows often follow the cadence of a story arc suited to a 16-episode broadcast TV schedule. But it also shows the new challenge that awaits Netflix — once something is a global hit, there are global expectations.

ChatGPT, a publicly available language-learning AI, was not designed to create things like crochet or knitting patterns. Before we begin …A few notes on my methodology:For every crochet pattern I generated, I used the prompt “Create a crochet pattern for (blank).”I followed the crochet pattern exactly. At first glance, ChatGPT’s crochet patterns look and read exactly like a crochet pattern. In a traditional crochet pattern, instructions for assembly would note specific places and methods to attach pieces, along with photos or notes on particularly tricky steps. Theoretically, it would be possible to create AI that generated amazing crochet patterns, but that would require very specific training and programming.

It marks the moment in June of 1865 when Union troops arrived in Texas to inform enslaved African Americans that they were free by executive decree. Though it commemorates a moment when enslaved African Americans were freed, the US is still held captive by several myths about slavery and people like Cummins. 1: African Americans were ‘freed’ after the Civil War endedThere is a popular conception that the formerly enslaved were freed after the Civil War ended. It is what historians call a “Slave Bible.” It is a copy of a Bible that was used by British missionaries to convert enslaved African Americans. AI is entering the publishing industry in the form of artificial human voices narrating audiobooks. Some voice actors are avoiding jobs that could lead to their voices being cloned by AI. Audiobooks could soon be narrated by artificial intelligence instead of voice actors as technological advancements make professionals across the industry question their futures. As the industry booms, voice actors are becoming more wary of AI's potential to be used to clone their voices, according to CNBC. Françoise Gilot, a tireless artist who defied simple categorization — and efforts to define her merely as a footnote in the story of her former lover Pablo Picasso — died Tuesday in New York. The early years of her career coincided with World War II and the Nazi occupation of Paris. In 1970, Gilot married her second husband, Jonas Salk, a virologist who developed one of the first polio vaccines. "Paloma à la Guitare" by Francoise Gilot (1965) was part of Sotheby's (Women) Artists Sale in 2021 in London, England. In 2012, Gagosian staged the first exhibition of Gilot’s work alongside Picasso’s, “Picasso and Françoise Gilot: Paris–Vallauris 1943–1953,” which focused on works made during their relationship.
