Harris and Trump are campaigning in swing states as they make their final appeals to voters. AdvertisementWith Election Day on Tuesday, the end is in sight for what has been a contentious US presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. It wasn't long before Harris began to narrow the gap between the Democrats and the GOP in the presidential race. Now, millions of women live in states with near-total abortion bans, while millions of other women live in states where abortion rights have been strengthened. In the closing days of the race, Harris has heavily emphasized the issue, which also helped Democrats in the 2022 midterms.

AP —Orlando Harris’ family pleaded with Missouri police to confiscate the 19-year-old’s bullet-proof vest, ammunition and AR-15-style rifle. The following August he met with a Washington University psychiatry resident, telling her he thought about shooting people at his old school. Harris’ family grew more concerned on October 15, when two packages from gun and ammunition suppliers arrived. She later drove her brother to a storage facility, which was about 5 miles (8 kilometers) from the high school. She told police she “knew something was going to happen.”On October 24, shots rang out as Harris entered his former high school.

While her husband, President Joe Biden, has been a scarce presence on the campaign trial, the first lady has been one Biden in demand for the Harris campaign. Harris’ team has deployed the first lady to all seven battleground states in the last month. It marked a difficult period for the Biden family, which saw many fellow Democrats publicly and privately push for the 81-year-old president to step aside from the campaign. “Another Trump administration would lead to more chaos, more greed, more division.”First lady Jill Biden speaks during a campaign event for Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. The Harris campaign has deployed the first lady in targeted ways, having her speak in smaller markets like Carson City, Nevada, and Macon, Georgia.

Taco Bell is reviving five menu items from past decades for a limited time. We tried the new Decades menu and the Meximelt was our clear favorite. When the first Taco Bell restaurant opened in Downey, California, in 1962, it offered just five menu items: frijoles, tostadas, burritos, tacos, and a chili burger. Now, Taco Bell is hoping to evoke a sense of nostalgia in customers with its new "Decades" menu that features five of its previously discontinued items. We tried four items on Taco Bell's new Decades menu (the Caramel Apple Empanada will be released on November 21) and ranked them from our least favorite to our favorite.

Of course not, especially when its comeback came after Florida had to turn to its third-string quarterback. The S&P 500 enjoyed a compound annual growth rate of 12.1% from Trump’s surprise election in November 2016 through Biden’s 2020 victory, according to CFRA. “The Trump market was so strong because of a combination of very low inflation, very low interest rates and tax cuts,” said Stovall. The S&P 500’s growth rate under Democrats is 10% compared with 6.7% under Republicans, according to CFRA. In those six years since 1945, where such a dynamic has been in place, the S&P 500 has enjoyed a sizzling growth rate of 16.8%. Atlanta rap star Young Thug agreed to change his plea to guilty Thursday in Georgia’s longest-running criminal trial, a stunning turn that, if approved by the judge, would bring his high-profile case to a close. The agreement comes after three of Young Thug's co-defendants took plea deals this week following mounting speculation that Whitaker could order a mistrial. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis used Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO, statute to claim Young Thug and his associates are a street gang with ties to the national Bloods gang. Whitaker this week approved plea deals for three of them: Quamarvious Nichols, 29; Marquavius Huey, 28; and Rodalius Ryan, 18. Young Thug first gained mainstream success with his 2014 drug anthem "Stoner."
