CNN —“Sorry/Not Sorry,” in theaters Friday, revisits the 2017 comedy-world firestorm involving five women’s accounts of sexual misconduct by comedian Louis C.K. only to be shut down; and Abby Schachner, a comic and writer who went public with her account of C.K. Then it was followed by C.K.’s Grammy-winning 2022 album “Sincerely Louis C.K.,” in which he joked about the behavior as a sexual hangup rather than abuse. “There are dozens of Russell Brands,” was the headline of one Guardian piece on female comics. I want a world where female comics have a workplace where they feel they’ll be supported — and, more importantly, employed — if they speak out about abuse.

Read previewOpenAI's fight with Scarlett Johansson isn't just a PR disaster (and a big one at that). Most of all, it shows there's just really, really bad judgment going on at the highest levels of Sam Altman's company. But everyone immediately noticed that the "Sky" voice that ended up on ChatGPT reminded them of ScarJo. And then Sam Altman, in one of the greatest self-own moves of the generative AI era, tweeted out "her" during the product demo last week. The OpenAI team used a Scarlett Johansson sound-alike voice — also completely avoidable.

Each spring a handful of attractive celebrities who do not seem as if they would hang out in any other situation are selected as co-chairs of the Met Gala, the black-tie blowout that is essentially the X Games of fashion (subtract motorcycles, add tulle). This year, Anna Wintour, Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny will head up the gala taking place on Monday. Bad Bunny contributed three flame emojis. The lineup of Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka and Amanda Gorman in 2021 seemed to scream “We are relevant to Gen Z!”The co-chairs also tend to be among the night’s earlier arrivals. Please, spare yourself the embarrassment of asking your Met Gala watch party whether that’s the Hemsworth who plays “Thor” or the Hemsworth who was in “The Hunger Games” — we’re here to help.

Now, shows aren't just on traditional TV and there are far more places for parents and kids to find content. At a time when streaming services are eager to lure in new subscribers and decrease churn, having a hub for family-friendly content is one way to ensure paying members (i.e. "Kids and family-friendly content is critically important to both streaming acquisition and retention," said Peter Csathy, founder and chair of advisory firm Creative Media. That's vitally important for streaming services, especially as consumers grow more cost-conscious and weigh which services to keep month after month and which services to ditch before the next billing cycle. For a while, Wall Street was satisfied with high subscriber growth and the promise of profitability in the future.
