SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket lands upright for the first time in the Atlantic Ocean on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship in April 2016. Landing boosters after flight is a feat that SpaceX has mastered with its smaller workhorse rocket, the Falcon 9. SpaceX says that has driven down its costs, allowing the company to underprice the rest of the rocket market. Just before touchdown, the Falcon 9 fires up its engines again — essentially using that power as a braking system. With 33 engines at its base, each more powerful than one of the nine used on the Falcon, the Super Heavy booster packs roughly 10 times the amount of thrust at liftoff.

There are several opportunities over the next month for investors to cash in on a long-standing trend by buying options, according to Goldman Sachs. "We find that call buying around analyst days has been a systematically profitable option buying strategy. The reason the strategy works is that there appears to be an upward bias to share price movement after analyst days that is not priced in to the options market, Goldman said. "Company managements take the opportunity of analyst days to review recent performance, layout strategic priorities, provide/update forward guidance, reveal long-term targets etc. Despite the significance of analyst days, we also observe that the options market tends to underprice volatility around analyst days," the note said.

CNBC's Jim Cramer on Monday told investors they may be wise to sit out the "initial feeding frenzy" when German sandal maker Birkenstock enters the market in an initial public offering on Wednesday. Birkenstock is expected to attain a $10 billion valuation and is seeking to price shares at the top of its $44 to $49 range, Reuters reported. The company saw a bump in publicity this summer after its shoes had a cameo in the "Barbie" movie blockbuster. Nevertheless, he said the company has seen solid growth and profitability, and its margins seem headed in the right direction. I say you'll be better off on the sidelines and waiting for the stock to cool down, because it probably will."

But only four property owners in the entire town have active flood insurance policies. In the United States, FEMA has traditionally provided all flood insurance plans through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). According to the Insurance Information Institute, an industry trade group, Florida, Louisiana and Texas account for 40% of all flood insurance policies nationwide. The origin of this exclusion can be traced to the 1968 National Flood Insurance Act, which established the NFIP. For example, in Miami, flood insurance can sometimes rival the amount that people pay for homeowners insurance, according to the Insurance Information Institute.

CNBC's Jim Cramer on Tuesday gave investors his take on Cava, the popular fast-casual Mediterranean chain that's expected to go public this week. "And, please, if you do want to buy Cava in the aftermarket, I'm begging you, please use limit orders, not market orders, protect yourself. In fact, you should always be using limit orders, because you have no control over the price you pay with market orders." Cramer said he expects underwriters to underprice Cava shares at first in order to engineer "a nice first-day pop." Cramer also warned investors about the pitfalls of the IPO market in general, with most following a similar cycle.

LONDON, March 31 (Reuters) - Even after a bank shock that could well have changed the whole picture, investors appear reluctant to give up the ghost just yet. The tech-heavy, interest-rate sensitive Nasdaq (.IXIC) is up 14% and even broad European bank stock indices (.SX7P) are still up more than 4% for the year. Pull the lens out as far as it can go and MSCI's all-country index of world stocks (.MIWD00000PUS) is up more than 5%. That U-turn in thinking during the month saw wild swings in the bond and rates markets, where key volatility gauges (.MOVE) hit their highest since the 2008 crash. by Mike Dolan; Editing by Toby Chopra; Twitter: @reutersMikeDOur Standards: The Thomson Reuters Trust Principles.
Bob Iger's shocking return as Disney 's chief executive officer immediately throws into question several major decisions made by outgoing CEO Bob Chapek. Disney shares have fallen more than 40% this year, including slumping on weak fiscal fourth-quarter results earlier this month. The Disney board's choice to replace Chapek with Iger speaks to it having more confidence Iger will deliver better results. Given Iger's support for a three-pronged streaming strategy of Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+, it's likely he would choose to do the same. WATCH: Bob Chapek and Bob Iger's strained relationship
