Over the years, however, Drake and Lamar came to represent very different versions of hip-hop greatness: the former is a commercial juggernaut, racking up No. Today, their separation is more apparent than ever: Drake and Lamar have become all-out foes. AdvertisementIn the former, Drake mocks Lamar's height with a reference to his latest Grammy-winning album, "Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers." "I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way that you dress."

The world was quite different when Apple quietly started its electric vehicle project in 2014. Having launched its Vision Pro mixed reality headset this month, the company has already committed itself to scaling and commercializing a technology that presents an entirely new business area. Tim Cook and Apple Vision Pro. AdvertisementThat's particularly so as competitors like Mark Zuckerberg post public teardowns of Apple's foray into mixed reality — a technology far from hitting mainstream appeal. AI and mixed reality are plenty to keep it busy for now.

McDonald's ice cream machines are so prone to breakdowns that they've spawned thousands of memes. Now, iFixit, a how-to repair company, wants a copyright exemption to repair them. McDonald's ice cream machines have a history of breaking down. This isn't the first time an outside group has tried to fix McDonald's ice cream machines. The City of Angels remains a city of teardowns. One house that slipped through the cracks is a 1927 Spanish Colonial-slash-Craftsman in the Fairfax neighborhood, just south of West Hollywood. In the fall of 2020, Siena Deck, currently a production assistant at HBO, won an eight-way bidding war to claim the heartbreaker, paying $1.29 million. Outside, jacaranda trees turn the grounds purple in spring. But what really impressed Ms. Deck, 25, were the decorative and frequently imperfect marks left by the former occupants, who lived there for 17 years.

Building in Mexico could be the key to the $25,000 Tesla. Even without unveiling the affordable model, one manufacturing expert is convinced Tesla has the chops to pull it off. The affordable Tesla will be unveiled "at a later date," Elon Musk has said. Elon Musk's plan to build another factory in Mexico will be key in Tesla's bid to provide the masses with a $25,000 car, according to automotive manufacturing expert Sandy Munro. That car is supposed to come out this year if the company is on track with those original plans.

Why Tesla cars get totaled so easily

Tesla's cars are tremendously complex, with a multitude of sensors and custom body parts. Insurers are increasingly declaring Tesla cars totaled in an accident instead of paying for a fix. To make matters even more complicated, Tesla's new "structural" battery packs — those that are integrated with the car's body — have "zero repairability," according to manufacturing expert Sandy Munro. Tesla is acutely aware of the high insurance costs of its vehicles, with CEO Elon Musk in January saying they were "unreasonably high." Tesla has also been working to offer its own insurance products in some states, including California, with premium prices based on driving data from cars' onboard sensors.

There are thousands of homes left vacant from abandonment or foreclosure in Ohio. Tony Kelly said the demolitions improved his area, from luring residents to lifting home values. At the end of 2019, Attom found, Ohio was among the states with the highest number of vacant homes, with 3.8 million. Mike DeWine said in a 2021 statement announcing the Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. "The demolitions helped to raise property values in the city, making the town more attractive to purchase and build houses," he said.
Its Model Y battery pack goes "straight to the grinder" after an accident, he said. "A Tesla structural battery pack is going straight to the grinder," Munro, a manufacturing expert known for his vehicle teardowns, told Reuters. Tesla's approach has been a structural battery pack, which has largely been hailed as revolutionary. Reuters cited experts that said Tesla and other automakers need to prioritize more easily repairable battery packs — and allow others access to battery cell data for repairs. That access to data, especially, has been debated as more EVs hit the roads.
Building in Mexico could be the key to the $25,000 Tesla. Even without unveiling the affordable model, one manufacturing expert is convinced Tesla has the chops to pull it off. The affordable Tesla will be unveiled "at a later date." Some of the industry's most profitable vehicles are built in Mexico, including some General Motors pickup trucks and heavy-duty Ram pickups. That car is supposed to come out this year if the company is on track with those original plans.
Converting offices into apartments brings people back to downtown areas as residents, not commuters. The algorithm is able to quickly assess which office buildings are viable for conversion to apartments, which are known in industry parlance as multifamily residential. "And then, actually, the demand for the remaining office buildings goes up, because you're creating scarcity by taking some out of the market." Most urban centers lack sufficient housing, but turning office buildings into apartments helps add additional units to rent or buy. About 28% of the area's office space is vacant.
