Stewart told The Wall Street Journal that she "learned how to negotiate even better than ever" from the rapper. They first met on "The Martha Stewart Show" in 2008, during which they made mashed potatoes together. As I see other generations of music lovers say music was so much better when they were younger, I wondered why. “It’s not that music was better when (we) were younger; it’s that music elicits very, very strong emotions,” said Dr. Rita Aiello, a music psychologist at New York University who examines how people process music and how music and memories shape each other. “Music is episodic,” said Dr. Robert Cutietta, a professor of music at the University of Southern California. A 2022 replication of the latter study in Marketing Letters: A Journal of Research in Marketing found that a person’s music preference peaks as young as 17. It may be because you’re remembering the artists, songs and albums that were meaningful to you and forgetting the ones that weren’t.

In an interview with the New York Times, Stewart praised the first half of Netflix's "Martha" while describing the rest as "a bit lazy." She told the newspaper over the phone that she felt the film spent too long on her time in prison and lacked color. "The trial and the actual incarceration was less than two years out of an 83-year life," Stewart said. In 2017, Stewart described her time in federal lockup as a "horrifying experience" and that "nothing" was good about it. "And that’s the thing I like most about the documentary," Stewart said.

CNN —The Paris Games are over, the Olympic flame that hung suspended in a cauldron above the Jardins de Tuileries extinguished, and the Olympic flag handed over to Los Angeles for the 2028 Games. Now only a mere 1,432 days away, the LA Olympics begins on July 14, 2028 with its opening ceremony and will run until July 30. So, what can we expect from the Los Angeles Olympic Games in four years’ time? Los Angeles has already hosted two Olympics, in 1932 and 1984, leaving enough infrastructure in place that there won’t be any new permanent venues built for 2028, and athletes will be housed at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), instead of a purpose-built Olympic Village. Although it isn’t yet clear exactly where each and every sport will take place in Los Angeles, organizers have already announced some of their biggest venues.
